i've been really obsessed over this whole thing, and tomorrow is my 1st appointment LOL. so i was telling my best friend about it and she just got that far off stare in her face and i was like.."what?" ... lol. and she said "well i'm going to have to start working out then!!!!" ... and i cracked up and and realized what she meant. then i asked why....and it honestly took her a while before she could put into words what she was thinking...maybe even thinking of the "nicest" way of saying it...OR whether or not she should say it at all. she came out with "you can't be smaller than me!" ........! :thumbup: my mouth dropped. but...lol. what can you do? she then said "jk..." and i said "i'll never be.." THENNNNN i was like..WHOA...i am totally retracting that statement. i am only going to be positive from here out and i .. mean it. lol. other than that...she says she wants to be there for me the entire time. so i turned the convo around to... "this is how we can work out..this is what we can do...go on walks, etc etc."

my best friend admitted to me that she thought of another guy while she had sex with her bf last night. i clicked over to my bf and he said "fantasies are a part of life...don't you do that sometimes?....'nooooooooooooo...lol......' .. "oh, i see how it is.*joke* .. " then i said .. "NO! I SEE HOW IT IS! lol........." whoa. i got hit from both sides. best friend and boyfriend telling me in the same 5 minutes that they think of someone else during sex. how should i be feeling about this? dayum. in my opinion...it's just like another insecurity to add to the pile. he's on top of me...or is he? lol. i watch him check out other girls. etc etc etc. you know? if i get the surgery and things turn around ...wouldn't it be a lie?:leaving:

anyone retain Water and will this surgery help it? make it go away? i calculated that i gained 30 lbs in 3 years and 3 years ago i didn't have water retention. So...maybe, if it's possible...after a month or 2...will it be gone? :woot:

thank you, that's exactly where i left off with him. he knows how i feel now. and . . i guess .. lol. that's all we can do for now. he actually told me recently that he "doesn't" do that with me, but he has with other ppl before. buuuuuuuuut.....i dunno.. haha. you know, one of those "lies" to not hurt the other person. maybe. bleh. lol. anyways, thank you!

hi, my name is Kristy. i am 23 and according to my ticker, i have over 200 lbs to lose. uhh..has that been done before? LOL. holy damn. haha. according to the law of attraction, that of which you think of most, becomes yours. SO, instead of joining this forum once i get a surgery date, i am going to immerse myself now. :thumbup: i had an apt. on the 12th with my doctor. she asked if i had thought about lap band and i was like..WHOA...? i thought that was like plastic surgery because the only place i heard about it was on the radio! haha. so i totally jumped on it. so, when i left the office, i called the dr. she referred me to, the receptionist told me the group info meeting thing was the next day...so, on the 13th i went to that. made my surgeon appointment and i will be THERE on tuesday the 20th. :thumbup: i wrote my letter the night of the meeting, i have 3+ yrs records to give on tuesday. so..next? more apts. and submission to insurance? :thumbup: i won't really know until tuesday, i guess. :thumbup::thumbup:

wow thanks for all the info! . i am kinda a chicken so i don't know when or if i'd want the tattoos, but, it sounded like a fun idea. LOL. i read that it's really hard to tattoo scar tissue, so i thought of going around it, and making that the body of the butterfly. but when i see those pics...they are horizontal, not vertical. BUT, i want to tell you that you are completely right. now is your time. your parents came from a time where passion wasn't as social as it is now, and you really need to live in that life that has been a no-no. :thumbup: it will be awkward at 1st, but its something that we need as humans and all things are successful with communication. so make sure that he knows where you are coming from. let him know that you can't wait to do all of these things to him, and that its all so new to you. in sexual situations, as a new beginning or refresher, you should take turns in guiding each other into the places, acts, and etc. with words. :thumbup: be verbal. and each will learn the magic points. and it's a change from the usual.
