    Sorry but another questions.

Thank you all for the replies!!!! I am back down to 240 as of today but I think I do agree I don't need to weigh myself so much! It has become an obsession but I can see how that is going to drive me nuts. Best of luck to all of you and thanks again!

    Sorry but another questions.

Thank you for replying! Just got a little spooked. lol
  3. I had my surgery on the 24th. It has now been 2 weeks. My weight is sooooo weird. I was expecting it to just come flying off. I lost 5 lbs and got down to 239 but then today I weighed myself and i was back up to 243.4. I have been so confused and just down about it all day. I am doing my liquid diet. I don't know what I am doing wrong. My doctor wants me to get 64 ounces of liquids a day. I have been doing so happily but not sure about it. I did have diabetes type 2 before the surgery but my sugar has been staying between 90 and 115. Could it be the diabetes, insulin not kicking in or something. This surgery was way too important to me for this to be happening. It just makes me feel like I am failing. Sorry if I sound like I am complaining because I don't mean it that way at all. I am just extremely concerned. I go to my first post op visit tomorrow. Thank you for any help!

Hormones??? What is going on with me?

I have felt a little irritable but not alot, thank heavens. Congrats on your surgery!!!
  6. So I had my surgery a week and a half ago. My doctor told me that I would find my hormones changing and effecting me but I didn't realize it would be so soon. For the past three days I have found myself being overly emotional about simple things, whether it be news stories that make me feel like I want to cry or even movies that are very moving. Is this the norm. I read that hormones after surgery are effected by not eating carbs and insulin in your body kicking in which effects serotonin levels but what does that really mean? I am in no way complaining and I am very blessed that I was able to get this surgery but have others experienced these enhanced emotions and how do you deal with them? I am an emotional person in general and wear my heart on my sleeve but even this is out of the norm for me. Any helpful replies would be wonderful. Thank you and blessings!!!!
