I still to this day have trouble eating with a group because I am not mindfully eating and something always makes me feel stuck. Guess part of my 21 year old sleeve is still working.

After I lost the weight 20 years ago, my thyroid was all over the place. I also was diagnosed with Adrenalin Insufficiency. Eventually I had the right side of my thyroid removed and now my left side is full of cysts on nodules. My thyroid numbers have been completely normal though. It's a watching and waiting game.

I was diagnosed at 19 with arthritis. I have had both my thumbs replaced, and the normal injections here and there. No fun at all!

I am a bit worried about the pain also. This growing opioid crisis is really messing with people that actually need the medication! My surgery is the 16th Wishing you a wonderful journey! -
Hello! I had my sleeve 21 years ago and got out of the hospital 1 day before Thanksgiving. I am sure you will do fine with it. I am 54 and having a Bypass on the 16th. Wishing you the best on your journey!

Mine is Sept. 16th. My LSD is for 3 days and is 5 to 6 shakes a day, depending on which shake variety I chose, I can also have other clear liquids and up to to large dill pickles a day.

Hello All, In 1998 I had a VGB. I did really well with it, and I went from 302 to 155. Now after suffering for years with Gerd I have developed Gastritis. I have also regained all but 80 pounds. I saw a baratric surgeon last Thursday and I will be able to get it done quicker because I have been through it all before and did rather well with weight loss. I had the Barium swallow test last week and it showed as soon as I swallowed it would come part way up my esophagus. Next week I get the EDG I look forward to meeting with you all and all that I can learn from you. I know the revision will be completely different from the VBG. Lynda

So glad it went well for for you. I had a tummy tuck in early 2000. I wanted to get my thighs done and my boobs done, but insurance only approved my tummy tuck. The Dr said that when the remove skin from your upper thighs it can make you look "open for business" in the private area. -

I didn't have gerd until after my sleeve and pretty quickly after. I have been taking Omeprazole for as long as I can remember, but still had break through gerd. My surgery is Sept. 16th, getting here quickly! Thanks!

Wow, this sounds terrible and I am sorry you are going though this. Just curious, what is this condition? Are you feeling any better with your weight loss? I am hoping that a lot of my pain goes away as I lose weight! -

I have been looking at flavor extracts on Amazon and the choices are endless it seems. I am curious as to what flavor extracts does everyone like the best?

After I lost weight with my sleeve I always found myself gravitating to the big girl clothes. I am not sure if it was just what I was used to or if my mind hadn't caught up with my weight loss!

What brand flavoring is your favorite?
