Kidney stones HELP
Lynda486 replied to New&Improved's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have 2 children and 6 years ago I had a stone and I will attest it was more painful than child birth! I suddenly had pain and bloody urine. Went straight to the ER and during the CT scan they found an 8 mm stone in my left kidney and a 4 mm in my right kidney. The left was way to big to pass on it's own so I went in that they broke it up ultra sonic waves ( Lithotripsy) -
Hello Dr! Sounds like you are doing an awesome job, 70 pounds in 6 months, wow! The only thing I thought of suggesting to you is that while in the office try to spend as much time on your feet as you can. Or if time allows got for an evening walk. Are you still getting all your protein in? Keep up the good work, you are an inspiration!

It is amazing how much pain and stress on the body can raise your BP. I have been on BP meds for 4 years and after I came home I actually had issues with low BP (71/49). I called my Dr and she agreed to have me come off the meds right away. I haven't checked mine for awhile so I just did and it is 110/70. I am very sure that yours will come down as well.

Looking good! I see that you are mostly on shakes still, does that mean you are not eating food yet? -

My diet cleared me for vegetables on day 43. But I had my first salad two days ago. I have had sauteed spinach and cooked broccoli with no issues! -
I feel your pain! I am stalling on and of and it is beginning to really frustrate me! I have upped my calories and my water intake is at least 60 oz a day if not more. I think the answer for me might be exercise. Please dont be too discouraged!

Can I take Xenical before surgery?
Lynda486 replied to Ninja-slash-nerd's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I just went to https://www.myalli.com/alli-faq/ and this is what they say about it Can you take the alli® product if you have had bariatric surgery such as gastric bypass or gastric banding? If you have had bariatric surgery, you should talk with your doctor before taking alli®capsules. Some patients experience problems absorbing food after such a procedure. If this is the case, alli® may not be right for you. However, everyone handles these procedures differently, so it is best to check with your doctor first. -
Kick the can! I am still out of order on the list 😊 But I just got off he phone with my best friend in Iowa, that always brightens my day. I will be meeting with the family on the 28th at a cafe to have holiday time together. I don't like to buy flowers, they don't last so I got a new plant. Tomorrow I am planning a most excellent bath. Candles and lavender bath salts. Forgot I had dessert last night. Fit and Lite strawberry yogurt with 2 T sugar free whipped cream mixed in so yummy!

Lynda486 replied to cubyblue6's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Thank you for posting this. My surgeon has not really talked about this. I have my three month appointment next week and will bring this up. So I guess I am a PG. Thanks for the information!
