I WAS APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!! Yes!!!! Surgery 8/19/19 4 days away!!! OMG!!!!!

I’m so curious... going in hopefully 8/19/19 unless I’m rescheduled AGAIN!! How Does the pain compare to child birth???

This surgery can’t come soon enough! Every damn part of my body hurts from my knees, hips, legs feet etc. I’m only 58 5’2 (apparently lost a damn inch) & 235. My body since January is NOT HAVING IT! Can’t wait until the day I never have to speak one word about my health. It’s the most boring subject on the planet . I have developed all kinds of co-morbidities!! My surgery was postponed for a week & as frustrated as I am. I understand that I have to be in the best position to have this surgery. I am just soo frustrated about the daily pain & I’m so eager to reset my life & begin again!! No one ever wants to live their life in this stupid pain. It physically & emotionally hurts so much because I don’t even want to leave the house.

I soooo identify!!!!! Was supposed to have RNY 8/12/19 & it’s been pushed off til this Monday 8/19/19. I was relieved because I felt just like you. Like I’m forgetting important things. This extra week has helped me pull my s#%^ together & now I feel ready. They better not postpone me again 😤!! Best of luck to you!!!! I’m sure you’ll do great. I’ll follow you!!!!!! ❤️

Soooo excited! I’m just praying they don’t postpone me again because of insurance. I was supposed to have it on 8/12/19. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞

I love salad too!!! And I love tuna in my salad. I usually just open a can & mix it in with everything else. Believe it or not.... I love just fresh lemon juice & pepper as my dressing. Favorite lettuce... arugula . Also love butter lettuce to make lettuce wrap sammies

Oh my!!!! That looks like the perfect meal to me. Clean, healthy & delicious!!! I so look forward to making these types of delicious meals when I’m at that stage

I haven’t even had surgery yet... scheduled 8/19/19 but.... I have been on WW for years. So glad to hear many of you once further along in your journey use/modify skinny taste. One of my family’s all time fav from her site is : https://www.skinnytaste.com/turkey-taco-spaghetti-squash-boats/ I serve this to everyone whether or not they’re on a food plan & everyone loves it.

Just thinking of all the times I felt embarrassed & ashamed of my weight. All the times my weight held me back from jumping into life with both feet. All the pics that I saw of myself & I was mortified when I thought those were my best outfits & thought I looked good. Boating.... when my ex would ask me why I was hiding out below in the cabin. Taking pics with my beautiful grandchildren & hiding out behind everyone so all you’d see is my face. Not going to HS reunions because no one would recognize me. I thought I was a little overweight in HS but ha!!! I looked great. People that I grew up with have a bar that they all get together at . I won’t go. I see all the pics on FB & would love to see some of my childhood best friends. Can’t go skiing. Can’t play tennis. Can’t ride horses. I’m going to keep a list & refer to it every time I feel like giving up. I’ll remember all the pain that being overweight has caused me physically, mentally & emotionally. Every time I want to eat something bad I’ll remember the prison I’ve lived in for the last few years!!!

I would love that as well. I cook pretty much every night. When I was on WW I made some amazingly healthy & delicious meals. I used skinnytaste, Emily bites and a few others.

So sorry you’re going through this. I have no answers but I’ll keep you in my prayers. Is there a social worker or a patient advocate at either hospital that you can speak with? 🙏
