Kim, big deep breath!! If your hungry you SHOULD be eating!! I'm sure not burgers and popcorn, but liquid mushies anyway. I know that I got hungry before I was suppose to, too. I called my surgeons office and they gave me permission to eat certain things. You should call TLBC and tell them you need a little more, they will be understanding I'm sure. Never mind the burgers etc... put it behind you. You will be able to eat those things again, it's not all or nothing!! You probably do not have much if any restriction, and I'm sure you havent done any damage being that it has been a couple of weeks. But you need to call your surgeons office to up the food. DO NOT GET HUNGRY!! Once your healed up and get your first fill and get the restriction you need, you'll be able to eat what you want, but not tons of it. Let me tell ya, the band WILL stop ya!! Focus on the future and smile. This is not the time to beat yourself up!! Your gonna do great!!

ya, okay, thanks yoda, good idea. I don't think it is band related, cause its all below the belly button and my port and band of course is way above that.:phanvan

I need some advice guys. Been having a bit of trouble since Thursday and it hasn't gotten better. Just wondering if anyone reconizes any of these symptoms or has any remedies for me to try. Symptoms - from excrutiating intestonal pain (really low) to like a internal bruising type of feeling in the same areas, but it swings back and forth from those two symptoms. -bloating, only below the belly button, and painful when I push on the bloating areas -it hurts to walk, kinda the way I felt after giving birth, just really tender inside. -now, I have no constipation or diahrea. my bowels are working normal. I'm stumped, it's been 4 days without any relief and on top of that my band is feeling kinda tight. I think cause I havent eaten much cause I just feel crappy. Oh this all started with a lousy sausage mcmuffin at Mcd's, NEVER AGAIN!! Any advice, pleeeeeeease:phanvan .

I will drink up to a meal, never during the meal, and wait about 3/4 -1 hour after the meal.

Okay Mandi, YOUR FREAK'N ME OUT!!!!!!! Everytime I go to a thread theres a new picture of you, what the hell are ya doin!!!! ..........................................................aaaahhhhh I get it. I say I'm gonna pose with a bunch of barn animals for a picture and you start flashing the sexy pin-ups of yourself...........I shoulda known!!!!!
-
Yoda - We raise the lambs to about 60 lbs. Then we ship them to the stockyards and there sold for their meat. It's really very sad......but it pays the bills, and they have a very healthy and fun life here with us until then.
-
Hi Lila, hey, I'm excited for you too!!!!! I think Yoda has more knowledge about the airport area, but keep me informed because if shes not sure, I can find out for sure. I have a couple of friends (not here), that know Toronto like the back of there hand. To be honest with you, Im not even sure where TLBC is?
-
Ya, sorry about that Mandi, your tickers fine. Thats my stupid dial-up for ya! Your ticker still hadnt come up after I wrote my 10 minute story..lol And for sure, you'll see lambs, they are sooooo cute when there born. Hey mandi, my digital camera takes videos, would that work if I downloaded a small clip , or does it only work on here with still shots?
-
Sounds great to me Mandi!! Just let me no the information I need. I still can't believe shes leaving:think
-
Mandi, were did your ticker go? So I thought of something to post. I'll probably bore all of you, though. Next Friday we start lambing here on the farm. We lamb three times a year. In January, May and September. So, during the month of September, there may be times where you don't here from me for a day or two. There has to be someone in the barn 24 hours a day, and it's just my husband and me, mostly. We are expecting about 250-300 lambs this lambing. Thats not to bad, because in Jan and May we usually get around 350-400 lambs. I thought it would be neat to take a picture of me with my lambs, (I think Mandi mentioned that to me) I'll try to get one and figure out how to post it on here. Won't be for a few weeks though. So thats my exciting news. Geez, thought for a while this would be a wasted thread. My life is kinda boring. *this will be my first lambing since being banded, its gonna be alot easier climbing over gates at 291 then it was at 347, Yeahhhhhh!!!!

Mmmmmmmmmmmm, that sounds soooo yummy Wheezy. Loriely, when I make alfredo sauce I melt a little butter, add fresh garlic (alot), add table cream and cream cheese, when it's all melted I shred some parm cheese in. I know, I know it's deadly fattening, but it tastes so rich, you only need a little to satisfy......especially now, after banding. The low-cal way is saute garlic in a little chicken soup stock, add milk and fat free cream cheese. But I only make it like twice a year so I like it the REAL way!!

Hi Wheezy, Im not 100 % sure but I think it's when they do the fill while kinda watching , like an x-ray or something like that. A port can flip, but it's rare, so I wouldn't worry. -
