    Hello

Hi Y, I found the pain of surgery minimal. I never had surgery before and I expected more pain. It is very localized to the cuts, and some people have gas pain in shoulders and what-not but chewing gas x relieves that. There are 5 cuts. 4 of them are like puncture cuts, very small. 1 is about 2 inches. I did not have any stitches on the 4 cuts, just tape. And on the bigger one, just a couple stitches that are cut about 2 weeks later. I was also very scared, but very excited too. You should be excited too, what a great decision you've made. I had Dr. Cobourn. I cannot say enough about him. I Love Him!!!! He will put you at ease the minute you see him. Others on this site had their procedures done at TLBC and loved thier experience as well. Keep us posted!!!

    A Canadian "NSV" Thread

Thats great news Green!!! Sorry to hear about your crotch troubles..teehee. Don't feel too bad about some people not saying anything. I have lost 65 pounds and the only people who claim notice are the ones that know about surgery. I keep telling myself that they must notice, they just don't say anything, go figure,eh?

    Chronicles of Cloe!!!!!

You guys are all sooooo smart, what great ideas. I was looking for the biotin and nioxin at wal-mart. I thought I read that on the main site. All wal-mart has here is for male baldness, I'm not sure its the same, the label says men only( maybe your breasts fall off if women use it,or something). I'll check out some salons where I live, but I'm gonna check out the nioxin web site first. Actually Mandi, when you saw me it was just starting then. I havent been worried about it, figured it was a small price to pay, and it will grow back. But lately I've really noticed. My scrunchies need an extra loop to go around my pony and I can feel the outside elements on my scalp. I told my family last night, if it got any worse, I'm gonna go out and buy a big, red, peg bundy wig!! LOL

    Chronicles of Cloe!!!!!

Hi Guys, So I was feeling kinda crappy today, PMS, and all!! I went back to my pics on page 2 to see if I think I look any different. Well, Good and Bad. Good news, is yes I definately see more change:) , bad news is.............I use to have beautiful HAIR, now I going BALD!!!:hurt :hurt Any other Canadians losing there hair? I went to wal-mart to find all the stuff they talk about in the other forum, but with no luck, probably not available in Canada:cry :cry Leaving on a good note.....my body is still changing, for the better.
  14. I too love to drink water before my surgery. Around 2 litres a day, but I always loved to guzzle it. I think that is why I don't drink as much now, cause it dosent feel the same when you can't guzzle it. For me anyway.

  17. I recieved an e-mail the other the other day from Dr. Cobourn's office. Did everyone else get one? It was about the new location, and about Marie, etc.... In the newsletter it said that they want us to contact the office once a month with our progress. Just wondering if you all do that?

    Chronicles of Cloe!!!!!

Actually, we were on a cruise. We were at Grand Caymen right after the big hurricane wiped them out. The picture was taken on this little shuttle we had to take to from the boat to the island, because there docks on the pier were all destroyed. Yes, I am proud of my kids, unfortunately they are at the stage where they know more then my husband and me combined. Teenagers!!!
