Our home has always been a good place for her. Her friends all love us, some of them come over to see us even when shes not here. I have tried to talk adult to adult, no shouting, when I say I'd like to see 'this and that' she shouts she's gonna leave, then I say okay this is how we feel, you make a mature decision to help us out, then she shouts 'your the parents, make a decision!'. You can't win for losing. Her dad and I have been married 18 years, no abuses, no out of the ordinary fighting, just a loving family, all 3 of the kids have always gotten along. I know there is a rebellious stage, I anticipated it, but this is crazy. We invite the boyfriend over always, but they prefer to go there, to be alone I assume. We are friendly to him, even though I wish he'd fall of the earth.lol. I dunno??? Jodie - way to go in the 100's, awesome. Thank you also for your advice, it's neat to hear from someone who is close to my daughters age. Thanx.

Oh my goodness, thanx for the response. Yes we know, the first thing my husband and I said was 'what is a 21 yr old doing with a 17 year old'!!! We actually went nuts at first, banned her from seeing him, ya right, like that works!! Then we decided to be real nice, let him in and get to know him. Anyway, he's alright I guess, very immature, drives us nuts, but I don't think he'd hurt anyone, at least a girl anyway. She saved her money and bought a car, she got her own insurance, and aside from school books, basic clothes, haircuts, that kinda stuff, she pays for stuff on her own. She gets no actual cash from us. But if she isn't working at school at her full potential at this point, then she's wasting everyones time. She has a younger brother and a sister and she is demanding all our time right now, how is that fair? Oh, and the university she was planning on attending was here here in our city, so she wasn't actually going to move away, so I don't know how that could work now.

Green, your life seems so cool. I'm terrified to walk around downtown T.O. I think it would be soooo cool to spend a weekend walking around the little shops, the problem is that when I get out on the street I'm afraid to go in some of them. How can you tell a good shop from a creepy one. I know, I know, I'm sounding very hick like. Every year my husband and I come down in Feb. He has to go to some convention for council. We stay at the sheraton, and his meetings are at the hotel, Royal York, we walk in the underground mall thingy to get to it. I can get to the eaton centre from there too. But I'm always scared to come out to the street. Any advice to citify me???

Yup, weird!!!!!!

I agree with Yoda. Whe she starts just say, 'hold that thought', and click on the recorder. That should shut her up!!. I don't think it is illegal, especially if you disclose it to her at the start.

Plan on checking in every day once you start your pre-op. It really helps to get extra support during that time. It's not horrible, but some days can be rough!!! Good Luck!!
-
Wow, your good Wheezy!! What do I want??
-
Mmmmm creamy fudge:hungry: . Actually Michaels is about 35 minutes from my place, which is good, if it were any closer, that would be dangerous!!
-
Then I say "LET HER HAVE IT"!!!!! Lifes too short for shit like that!!!!
-
Ya suck at challenges too. I don't think I've ever hit my target goal:cry . It's kinda fun to see the numbers, though. It's a hard time of year to meet challenges, but after Christmas boy, STAND BACK!!!

Hey Nancy, best wishes to you!!! Keep in touch, we'd love to hear how it's going.

Well, I shouldnt give advice cause I don't work in a public place with lots of co-workers. But has she always been a bitch? Personally, I always try the nice route first. Maybe bring her a cute mug with some chocolates or something, tell her you've noticed she's having a hard time lately, then let her know you hate taking the brunt of it. Then see how she responds. If she feels bad and trys to be nice, great. If she still is a bitch, the report her sorry ass to management!! I wouldnt take a single thing from her ever again. You know you tried your best, and BUST THE BITCH!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!! Mmmmmm, homemade fudge!!! My Grampa left me his recipe for his homemade fudge. I tried to make it about 20 years ago, and it flopped. My Gramma told me he used a slab of marble and beat the livens out of it? Apparently that is the secret. As soon as I find out what that meant, I'll try it again. Yes, it is busy this time of year, but I Love It!! I went into 'Michaels' the other day in Barrie to get '4' markers. I left 3 1/2 hours later and $175.00. I find it overwhelming in there, I can hardly breathe. I think it's even worse this year, can't use my passion for food anymore so I think it spilt over to my creative side.

I do poured candles, rolled candles, sparkle candles, homemade soaps, painted wood, napkin rings, signs, personalized x-mas ornaments, awww, my brain is starting to hurt, stuff like that. I love it, I do a craft show every Saturday now to Christmas.

Welcome BrightFuture!!!!! Don't mind Yoda, Mandi and I are harmless. Yoda forgot to mention that she met us in the assylum, therefore she's as whacked as us, tee hee. BrightFuture, my BMI was 57.7 when I started, it's down to about 45-46 now. I think the higher the number starts, the more exciting it all is!! To all you lurkers:wave:       your missing the party, get in here!!!!!

Going back a bit to Wheezys concern, I have days when I'm tighter and others where I can eat just about anything. So sometimes when I'm with others I can eat almost normal, but when I'm tight, thats when I have to get creative with my reasons, and Yoda is right, most people don't notice.
