This is gonna sound stupid, but does anyone have a old bell cell phone they want to get rid of cheap???? I'm locked into a STUPID bell plan that I'm paying for but the STUPID phone they gave me broke and they wont replace it!!!! So if I can find another bell compatable phone cheap, I can transfer the number and finish out the plan. THEN LEAVE BELL!!!! Can anyone help??

WTG!!! If you can master this when your kids are young, and you are young (27!), That is fantastic!!!!!! I wish that I knew about the band at 27. But alas, never look back.

Best Wishes on your upcoming surgery!!!!! We're all excited for ya!!!!!:clap2: :clap2:

I was (am) a hard-core food addict. But, I did alot of soul searching before my lapband, which I believe, most people do. I decided to really, I mean REALLY listen to myself to help guide me. As a mother of 3, you get use to not listening to yourself, or shelving your needs. When I turned 40, I thought enough was enough!!!!! I now listen to the very core of my being, which takes time to master, if you can ever master it. But I do find I'm making way better choices, and the decisions I'm making make me feel much better. I find myself doing things I use to do 20 years ago, things I forgot I enjoyed. Ex: photography, crafts, baking. Oh, my point is....yes I do believe it would be easy to go from one addiction to another. Our decision to get the lapband was a positive one. I believe everyone should have a good/positive plan to insert before we take away food. *I actually enjoy my food 100% more than I use to.

Well ya know Yoda, I hadn't thought of that til ya brought it up!!! Hmmmm Yes, Bandiva, I am happy she's back. I was a little skeptical at first, but she seems to be making a good effort. So far so good. And yes, I sleep much better with all my chicks in the nest. Thanks for understanding. I think I must have named the thread the wrong thing, or said something weird about this thread. I only meant it to help eliminate all the individual threads we all have, it would be much quicker to read through. I fully expect others to read and post here, and want them too. That's all!!:phanvan

I agree, I betcha it's nothing to worry about (band-wise). If it was your band the pain would be higher. And I think not much can go wrong with your port site this late in the game.

I'm from Ontario, so I can't help you with s doc, but as for banding, it was the best thing I ever done. For me it was a answer to a prayer. It has gliches along the road, like everything else, but I wouldnt part with my band for anything!!! I'm sure you'll hear more on this thread from others. Best of Luck in your decision!!
-
Bandiva, your doing just great!!!!! And ya, your being to hard on yourself, but you know that already!!! Enjoy the journey.
-
Speak for yourself Wheezy.........................nah, just joking. I have been more burpy. My husband will come up to me and tap me, and I belch, but he's getting use to it now. He says it's just part of foreplay..lol.
-
Oooooooooooo, where a you going???????? If postponing your fill felt like the right thing to do, then great, your band is yours for the journey, take one day at a time.
-
Good for you Wheezy!!! Are you coming down with your sister???
-
Sorry about your Gramma, Mandi. Yucky news. ------------------- Gaffer, holy crap, look at your ticker!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTG!!!
-
Can you take black marker and cross out 'lapband'? The worse that could happen is the gov calls you to confirm what kinda surgery it was. Then for fills, maybe right in check-up??? I dunno, I'm grasping for ya!!
-
Dame J, I hear ya. I still sometimes slip up, but it's less all the time. It is trial and error. This is going to sound gross, but I find that if I chew like crazy(ok the gross part) and then kinda mix up saliva in my mouth to get a more mushy texture before I swallow, that helps. It sounds so gross, but it can be done discretely, and nobody notices. Sorry if I grossed anyone out.

Hey, I just reread this........."OLD FART", who you calling a 'old fart'!!!! LOL BTW, Wheezy, never give up alcohol, .....Cheers:beer: .

Well, this thread has proven interesting so far. Doddie, honestly, I had no intention of exclusion. I just don't have an hour of time anymore to go through 10-20 threads everyday(I'd like too, but can't) I need to pick and choose which ones to visit, I was only trying to save time. You have as much right to visit any threads, as anyone else here. Please feel welcome. Your ARE welcome. Nuff said!

Ya, Down with Bell!!! It's funny, I use to get these courtesy calls every few months, telling what a wonderful valuable customer I was, (I have 4 cell phones, 2 land lines, and 2 bell satellites), ever since this incident, which was before Christmas, not a single call. Cause you know if and when they ever call.......THEY ARE GONNA HEAR ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you actually have to show her the info with what you had? Can you not just take her something that says medical expense $15,000. And if she asks, which she shouldn't, but if she does just say it's personal. I'm not exactly sure about the forms your referring to but can you just write or say 'Medical Expenses' and leave it at that.
