Do what you want!!!! She was given her own body to worry about. You worry about yours!!!

I started scrapbooking last spring. It is fun and addicting, unfortunatly it can be pricey. I'm thinking about taking a Yoga class in January. I'm a little unsure. I think I would like it for the relaxing, but I'm not quite sure about the headstand stuff. I've got some more pounds to take off first before I attempt things like that. So, I'm not sure I'll go threw with it.

That sounds great, and fun! I'm so glad you felt good. I'm assuming your brother-in-law is married to your sister, so if thats true, what was your sister doing wilst he lookish at you! BTW......ONE chocolate almond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to hire a u-haul truck to come pick up all the chocolate in my house right now. I hate it, I'm popping one in mouth every other hour!! -

Hi Gaffer, I asked Dr. Cobourn about my pool, since my surgery was in May. He told me about 2 weeks, but not too worry about it too much, since it was my own pool and not a public own. (less contamination I guess). I also bought the big Band-aid brand bandages that are water resistant, then before I went swimming I smeared like polysporin or a anti-bactria petroleum jelly over the incisions then applied the bandage and didnt worry about it. ENJOY your hot tub:bathbaby: !!!

Before I was banded I always used Advil liquid-gels for pain relief. Is advil okay to take after banding or is there something better for us. I read somewhere that some painkillers have been linked to erosion, which one do they mean. Also can you take a gel pill like advil without it getting stuck? I'm only a few days banded but wondering for the future. Thanks

I agree with everyone. Dr. Cobourn and TLBC both exceptional. Either one you can't go wrong. Let us know how it goes!!!

Good Luck Yoda!!! -
Hi Mookie Congrats on your new date, I'm very excited for you. Dr. Cobourn is amazing!!! Ya, the optifast is, well, not the greatest, but could be alot worse. I had to be on opti-fast for 3 weeks, here's some tricks I did to help cope. First I took 21 little post-it stickies up on my cupboard. Every time I drank a meal I would rip one off (sometimes ripped it to shreads). It was nice to see the posties getting less and less, it was a visual thing for me. Then I only ate something once, on the third night I think. Celery, I believe. It was easier to not eat anything at all, then to eat. The chewing just made me want to eat more. Last but not least drink it blended in a blender, and definately with ice to make it really, really cold. Don't forget to lean on us as much as possible. That really, really helped me. Thats what were here for. Well, and to harass the hell out of Yoda!!. lol Good Luck Mookie!!! Your gonna do great!!!!

Hi becca Unfortunatly, I have had the misfortune of not being able to get to a bathroom. The good news was, I was alone in my car. It came on very quickly. I dumped out a bag of groceries quick, and slimed in the bag. I almost ditched the car doing it, but I eventually pulled over, slimed again, and that was that. I think as a precaution for the first few months, keeping a bag near you all the time is a good idea. I remember Mandi talking about her empty tim horton cup she always left in the car. LOL

Hey Mandi, can't wait to hear what everyone said when they saw you???!!!
-
All's well, that ends well!!!! It's nice to have a PB for the relief of it all. Too bad it was your Christmas dinner. Did you get to eat anything afterwards or was it 'I can't eat anything for a while' ones? Hey, congrats on looking great!!!!!

WOW LORIELY, look at your ticker.. HALF-WAY!!!!!! WTG!!!!
-
Personally, I would not do it. It will feel like you got kicked in the stomache for a few days, plus the incisions I found were hurting me. Not bad, but enough to want to just lie there. Then they don't hurt at all. Everyone is different though. I just wouldnt bank on it!! Hope that helps.:girl_hug:

Thought it would be fun to lump the two together. It total's about 7 weeks. I know everyone has a Christmas goal!! Let's start early, and get on it!! My Christmas goal is 260, eeek!
-
How much will you spend this Christmas, travel, food, etc...
-
I know what you mean Loriely. I'm trying to be good, but the truffles keep coming at me from all directions, it's horrible!!!!
-
You guys are nasty!!! I'm taking neenaughs side here, I'm half imperial and half metric!! That explains alot, eh??

Question... I have almost all my Christmas shopping done. My house has been cleaned, you know in all those little spots you want done before people come over. I have my menu and grocery list made out for Christmas. My decorations inside and out are done. Ive worked my butt off to be ready this year, and I'm still starting to feel the anxiety creeping up. I need tips to help me squash these feelings, I just want to relax and enjoy these holidays. Aside from alcohol (which I may resort too), any ideas out there??
-
I'm not 100% sure, but I think a little dab will do ya!! I don't think you use too much or it tastes yucky, kinda like food colouring.
-
Hey Loriely, WTG, Good Job!!!
-
WTG Girls!!!! Awesome Job!!!!!
-
I'm with these guys. Definately blend with lots of ice!! I however preferred it without anything added. But definately don't use the shaker. Wrap it up and give it to someone for Christmas. lol.
