You guys are doing great!!! Keep it up. Andrew, I think you'll be happily surprised by the amount of weight you'll lose just on opti-fast. I started out about the same weight as you, and after 3 weeks of opti-fast I was down 24 lbs. Plus they say men lose weight faster!!!

I used Benefibre every day on my pre-op and even now I'll use it now and then. I like it because it is powery and it has no taste, no smell, and blends completely invisible. It works good, but make sure you drink tons of water too.

I was watching a plastic surgery show the other day. This guy had lost almost 200 lbs by gastric bypass, in 1 year 7 months. He went for a full body lift. When he was done, there were scars everywhere!! I couldnt believe it. I was thinking that I don't know which would be worse, the extra skin or the scars. I also want to lose 200 lbs, but this guy was pretty young, I've been over weight for twenty years. I'm almost scared to see what I'll look like after. (I'm not saying I don't want to lose). My scar on my tummy is still pretty red, I think. I cant imagine them all over my body. How long does it take for a scar to fade? What is everyones opinion on plastic surgery? Is any fellow Canadian thinking this could be in there future?

The hunger will absolutely go away. I remember on day 6 or 7 I only had two shakes that day, I just couldn't do the third shake. That sounds funny. Really I think your tummy shrinks quickly. Hang in there, take some advil, chew on celery, whatever you gotta do. Be strong!!

Bandiva, glad you got your fill. Be very careful in the next few weeks. That baby may kick in anytime and catch you off guard. Thats a big fill. Just be careful.
