Hi——so I’m just about four weeks post op. Last week I got a terrible rash on my left breast. I went to my primary who said it was dermatitis and gave me two steroids. It has cleared up. This morning I woke up with the rash on my right lower abdomen. I was referred to a dermatologist. Has anyone had the ketosis rash? Does it spread like this? Is it tiny red itchy bumps? My appointment is not until Tuesday. It was the earliest one scheduled. Thank you in advance.

Ok. Guess that’s why my emotions are all over the place too. Thank you for getting back to me.

Sorry guys.....anyone else’s periods get all messed up after the procedure? I got my period July 6 and got it again this morning. I’m usually every 28 days on the dot. I know the sleeve messes with hormones, does it affect monthly cycles too?

Stomach doesn’t feel smaller

I feel the same way. I’m still hungry all the time. I’m sure it was done correctly. -
I’m on soft foods and I’m so damn irritable. I’m annoying myself.
-
It’s been just over three weeks since my sleeve. I’m super irritable. Anyone else? How long did it last?
-
Thank you. I’ll try tuna tomorrow.
-
Thank you for saying that.

Hi. I hit week 3 Thursday. I’m on the soft food diet and having a hard time getting my protein in. Today I was eating kidney beans and had to stop because I got the absolute worst chest pain. I’m worried about gaining my weight back and I’m worried about not getting my protein in. This sleeve has turned me into a neurotic mess. I’ve never been like this before. I hope calm down

Thank you so much, everyone. Today is a bit better. Put some anti fungal on the belly button and the itching stopped. I felt like that was the last straw. It sounds stupid but the itching was driving me crazy and keeping me up at night. Been regretting the surgery but I see now it’s now it’s normal. You all made me feel better. Xoxox

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I just didn’t think this was going to be like this. It’s one minor issue after another. And my scales broken so I don’t even know if I lost anything. lol. It will get better.

I feel like a baby. I’m only at day 9 and it’s harder than I thought. I started out with severe dumping. My doctors thought it was CDiff. It wasn’t it was a terrible IBS flare up. Now I’m constipated. And my belly button has a fungal infection. I didn’t even know that was possible. It itches so bad. I’m having trouble getting my protein in because I’m never hungry but im having terrible food cravings for nothing healthy. I’m due for my period so that may be why I’m feeling like this. It’s just harder than I thought. And I haven’t felt well. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Thank you for listening.

Anyone get surgery without "needing" it?
LisaCh replied to Ryanasaurus's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I had the same as you apnea and reflux and my BMI was not even that high. I got the surgery last week to improve my quality of life. I have to Lose 60 pounds to have a healthy BMI. Do what you feel is the right thing to do. Everyone has an opinion. Good luck. -
My doctor calmed me down. He is going to do some labs and if all is negative I can take Imodium. And I’m five days out and 9 pounds down.
