Soooooo....how about those tigers??? I believe God loves each and every one of us and wouldn't stop a man from marrying a man and a woman from marrying a woman. They're not hurting anybody and it's nobodies business. You hear about religion all the time and how they reject homosexuality but then you keep hearing over and over about priests molesting little boys. Where is their religion?

except the chance to share the memory of my hero. My mom was 49 years old when she passed away a year ago today after suffering from ovarian cancer for 4 years. She was young and beautiful and taken from my family way to soon. It's amazing how much I've become like her in the year that she's been gone. I'm such a different person and it pains me that she's not here to see it even though I do know she is watching over me. I was best friends with my mother. It wasn't always that way of course. In my late teen and early twenties we didn't have a very close relationship but as I really became a woman we developed a strong bond. She was the biggest part of my life and that was taken away and now there's a massive void. My mom was a very inspirational person. She was a woodworker and she had her own business on ebay selling the stuff she made on her scroll saw. She was a master at her craft and spent hours everyday perfecting her creations before she sent them to destinations around the world. It makes me smile to think of things she created can be found all over the globe. She'd make things and paint quotes on them such as "turn your scars in to stars" and "We're all like snowflakes, one of a kind". I miss her!:confused:

Thanks ladies.. you're my hero's! hehehe... I'm back to 369 again. UGH! I need to workout. I went to the doctors yesterday and I have an ear infection so I'm taking antibiotics. Should I take it easy until it's cleared or just keep chuggin?

so I'm eating tons of pasta the last week. Now that the anniversary of my mom dying is past me I need to hop back on the wagon. Will someone please kick my butt and make me go workout??? Please????

me and DH are wanting to get an invisible dog fence for our dogs but have no idea what brand to get. Any suggestions??

My scale is right on with my doctors scale. Which I really like. Libra, I'm down almost 30 now and I'm in the same size too though some of my pants are way loose.

Hey Molly! I'm suffering depression right now also. I just have to use very small plates to control my portions and I use the baby spoons and forks also to make sure I'm taking small bites and I sit my utencil down between bites to make sure I'm not shoveling in. I will watch tv when I eat and if I finish and i'm still hungry I watch a 30 min show first and if I'm still hungry at the end I'll get a little more. Goofy , huh? My first fill is working great for me. I went from 373 last tuesday to 367 today. YAY!

So I got my first fill on Tuesday Oct 2nd and weighed 373 at that time and this morning I weighed myself and I'm 367. YAY! The fill is working!!!

Yes that's my hubby. and thanks ladies. I had ANOTHER pb yesterday at dinner. Two of them. I'm making up for lost time apparently. Today I'm having oatmeal! hahaha. I've lost 3 pounds since tuesday. Candy... I might not envy you and just come down. hahahaha I'm 6'1" and hubby is 5'9"

I'm addicted to my scale also. It's horrible! Atleast I'm now only weighing first thing in the morning instead of all day long. hehehe. I had my first PB this morning and it was awful!!! two bites of corned beef hash and I felt it stuck...then I started slimming and ran to the bathroom where I had to spit into the toilet several times before the food finally came up. Ahhhhhhhh..sweet relief. Now I'm eating oatmeal and I'm having Soup for lunch. The fill seems to be working! Libra..you're going to look AWESOME by June. I love that dress. I don't have an occasion to dress for but kind of wish I did.

So I had my first fill yesterday. 1mm in a 4mm band (or whatever the metric is) and I'm not sure yet how much restriction it's giving me since I'm still on liquids. I was able to eat anything I wanted before so this should be interesting. Oh...and my weight went back to 373 so only 20 pounds down. This morning it was at 371 so it's bounching all over. I want to get back to the 360's again though.

I'm not sure if I hit goal last month. I'm thinking not. I'm making a goal of 10 pounds for October. It's going to be a hard month with the 1 year anniversary of my mom's death on the 14th but I can do it and I'll do it for her. I have my first fill tomorrow afternoon. I can hardly wait!!!!!

is there any restriction before you go like you shouldn't eat for 4 hours prior or anything??

hahaha Jamie. I've had that happen before too. I'm stuck at around 25 pounds. I keep going between the same three pounds still so I'm having a fill on Oct 3rd for sure. I can hardly wait. People at work are going nuts though about how much weight I've lost. I'm trying to kill my scale addiction though. It's HARD! hahaha. I'm thinking about having hubby steal the batterys and only put them in once a month or something. How often do you all weigh yourself?

Faybie... beautiful!!!! I haven't taken any after pictures yet because I plan to do it on my 2 month (oct 3rd) 4 month (dec 3rd) 6 month, etc. It'll be interesting. Do we have any men in our ABC Crew??
