That's great @Sandra Nuelken, I'm glad you have history and faith & confidence in your doctor. Wishing you the best!

Thanks @Sandra Nuelken How are you doing? When was your surgery?
-
Hi everyone, My VSG was exactly 2 weeks ago. I was up and walking that night, and did a lot of walking through the night (only thing that really helped the gas pain). I was discharged the next afternoon, and stopped pain meds on post-op day 2. Following surgeon and nutritionist plans, I transitioned to non-liquid protein a few days ago. Can’t eat more than 1-2 oz of food at a time. Hope everyone is doing great! blair

@NoMoore, how did your surgery go? I stayed about 24h in the hospital, was awake for most of it, walking, walking, and more walking! how are you doing today? CONGRATS TO ALL THE JUNE SLEEVERS!!

I'm totally going to be in the same boat, @onepreciousk . Hope your surgery went smooth today and that you're not in a lot of pain. I can't wait for the reduction in constant knee pain, too! NSV!

Thinking of you @Frustr8 I hope that your endoscopy went well today! Sending good vibes for reduced pain!

Post surgery vegan chewable vitamins
Blair P. replied to vegbeth's topic in Vegetarian or Vegan Eating
Hi everyone, I'm having a hard time finding a chewable/liquid/ez-melt calcium/D3 vitamin that's (1) vegetarian or vegan and (2) with no added sugar OR sugar alcohol (fructose is OK). I haven't considered vitamin patches - but I have an allergy to adhesive (tape, bandaids), so that complicates things! I figured I'd ask here in case someone has any good calcium products they can recommend. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! xxx -
@justmetj yay! I love MA:) hope you can visit often! @NoMoore - we're sleeve twins! One week from today - nervous and excited. How's the pre-op stuff going?

Hi Everyone, This is my first post. I'm from MA and am having the Gastric Sleeve on 6/18/19. Nervous and excited. I'm grateful to everyone who is sharing their own experiences and truths. I know that life will be dramatically different. Best of luck to all the June Sleevers!
