Relatable too. I was going every few hours. I figured the IV was finally catching up to me. -

Same here! No urge. I suspected that was from the cath as well. Maybe also from the pain -

I couldn't pee til hours after surgery but the next day I was going more normal, just with a bit of discomfort from the cath. that I had in during surgery. I'm 2 day post op and my left side is killing me but it's definitely still some gas stuck in there and also (tmi) I haven't had a bowel movement so I'm assuming that all plays a part in this discomfort. -
VSG to RNY Revision. Anyone?
A.Marie328 replied to d258's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I just had my revision from vsg to bypass yesterday. I don't remember the pain after my sleeve being like this. I am so sore and it hurts to move. Did you experience worst pain than vsg? -

I've very anxious and excited as well! I hope you have a great surgery and get the results you want! Im sure it's going to be so worth it! Although I'm getting a revision, I don't regret having had the sleeve done. Wls is definitely a great tool. -

My surgeon says that they leave all wls patients for 2 days to monitor them. The hospital is going to call me the day Friday before surgery to tell me what time to be there, which I assume will also be early in the AM. My husband is going to drive me the day of and my mom is staying with my girls for a few days since he has to work. -

That's the most exciting part. The victories that involve our babies! My daughters are 6 and 3. I haven't mentioned my surgery to them but I plan to have a talk with them beforehand since we'll be away from each other while I'm in the hospital. -

Hi! I'm Angie, 26 years old and Mommy of 2! I had the sleeve done in 2015, 4 months after having my 2nd child and my starting weight was 282 [emoji27] after vsg I got down to 197 lbs and started getting terrible acid reflux and then after my 2nd year I started regaining and now I'm currently at 229 lbs. Because of GERD I'm having revision to bypass on June 17th and I'm hoping for relief and to lose everything I regained and some! I'm currently on day 2 my pre-op diet and it's harder than I remember it being before my sleeve. I just need to get my mind on track. -
Vsg revision to bypass
A.Marie328 replied to A.Marie328's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
Yeah, I had never heard of it being slower but I dont know personally. I want the acid reflux gone more than anything but I plan on sticking to my diet and hoping for a significant amount of time this weight to come off. Thanks for your response! -
Hi all! So I had the sleeve done in Nov 2015 and due to GERD and some weight regain, I am having my revision to Bypass in 2 weeks. I've started my pre-op diet and was wondering for anyone who was sleeved then revised to bypass..is there anything I should know before surgery? I want to hear any experiences, success stories, regrets, etc? Thanks! [emoji5] Sent from my moto e5 play using BariatricPal mobile app
