I am so sorry to hear about your trouble. That is nuts and I've never heard of anything like that. Have you tried drinking some hot tea about an 1/2 before you eat? I was really tight without my first fill too. But i started drinking Hot tea before my meals and it helped. I've noticed I get really tight when I don't drink enough Water. Are you drinking enough? I am sorry-hang in there. Hopefully your tests will come back ok. Best of luck to you!

Hi, I am really sad, I was on these boards and saw that many of the people that had surgery back in JUNE 08 with me is hitting 85+ lost. I've only lost 44 pounds! I don't know what I am doing wrong. I know that I didn't exercise very much in the begining and now that I've started to regularly. There still isn't much of a difference. I've only had 3 fills. I think that may be the problem. I don't over eat, stay away from fried foods, breads, pastas all the fun stuff that got me here. I am just looking for any support I can get. I just don't get it.

Hi Fellow Jazzies! I was banded the 28th of June and I am down 11 lbs. I know it's probably just water but I don't care. Still on liquids....looking forward to mushy stage!

Hi, I am having surgery this weekend and although I kept saying I wasn't worried or nervous or anxious, I've now realized that I am all of those things. I can't seem to want to talk about anything other than the procedure. My boyfriend doesn't really want to talk about it. He was supposed to go with me at first and after I told him that I didn't mind if he was there or not, he's decided not to go. He's completely shut down on me and doesn't want to discuss the procedure. He just says it'll all be fine. Not to worry and that we'll get through it. I am at a loss and I've realized he's actually a little insecure. It's a side of him that I've never seen and I really don't know what to do. My family is now freaking me out more, my mom keeps asking me if there are issues with the surgery could we sue. All these questions that I at times don't have answers for. I am a self-pay and after tons of research I am going to Mexico. I just want to stop questioning myself. I keep asking myself am I doing the right thing and almost feel ashamed that I have to go to this extent to lose this weight. I am just freaking out.

Hi everyone, I am on day 3 of pre-op liquiid diet and I just wanted to know if anyone knew if we could drink the Special K H20 protein water mix. I drank one today and it was very filling. Just want to see if anyone has heard anything about this. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU! I JUST PRAY I CAN COMPLETE A WEEK ON MY DIET! I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO GET EASIER EVERY DAY BUT IT HASN'T YET! :cursing: HOPING IT WILL BY THE END OF THE WEEK! I GET MY BAND ON THE 28TH! CAN'T WAIT!!

Me too I am allowed one meal a day as well so technically not on all liquids. That's cool you're allowed unlimited green veggies not me. Anyhow, let me know if you need anything. k
