Cross post: 2.5week stall?
georgina replied to Maxthecat's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I hope I am only in this infamous stall phase too...... I am 4 weeks out today.from band to bypass revision.... and have lost a total of 1stone 5 1/2 pounds... but of that only 1 pound this week and 1 pound last week... I have a shake for breakfast.... a small low cal high protein lunch and dinner... around 60___80 protein... not quite making my fluid target... but very disappointed the last two weeks..... recovery wise I feel fine... -

When does the weight loss begin?
georgina replied to Myaiku_Kuraitani's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I am one week post op and have lost ten and a half pounds. I get around 500ml of protein shake in a day and some soup. Good Luck on your journey -
I'm worried to add fruit as I have been suffering with heartburn.... really hoped I had seen the last of that! I am on lansoprezole 30mg per day..

I am one week post surgery and had my band removed and the bypass done in one surgery😁 I'm doing well.... not too much pain but an awful first 3 days due to the anastetic!!! Soooo hate the effects of that stuff! I am not enjoying any protein shakes but keep on drinking them.... getting on around50g protein a day... trying to increase.... ten pounds down already!! Happy with that

After revision did you have shortness of breathe?
georgina replied to FattoFit7's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I am one week post revision surgery and have felt I need to concentrate on taking deep breaths throughout the day..... in hospital I had a spiroball to use every fifteen minutes. You're not alone on this ...... good luck -

Has Anyone Kept Their Surgery A Secret?
georgina replied to Dtrain84's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Hi bunnyboop... I am due to have band to bypass revision next week...... been waiting a year... did you have it as one surgery. How did it go.. how are you feeling and how quickly is the weight coming off? -
Hello I am in for surgery nect week but the only thing that's really worrying me is that I may wake up from surgery to ring I have not had the bypass done. I have had my band for 9 years and did brilliantly with it.... unfortunately I suffer badly with reflux and a dilated oesophegusso my surgeon suggested conversion from band to bypass... I have waited a long time for my surgery date but at the pre op appointment last week he said that if he struggles to remove my band he will end the op and then in six months continue to bypass..... this has completely freaked me out... nobody knows I have even got a band.... so what on earth will I say if i come around and haven't had the bypass..... have many of you had the sirgery in one go.... when my surgeon suggested it he made no mention of possibly two surgeries... I don't do well with anaesthetic and i heal very slowly... greatful for any info. I am in London UK.
