I'm going to start my bag when I go in for my pre-op on the 17th, I need to do something with my anxious self. I think I will wear my same outfit home, bring my vaseline for my lips (sensitive skin), aromatherapy lotion (bath & body works), thicker socks, hygiene basics, charger /phone, travel blanket and pillow (personal comfort) and I'm still bringing my battery operated candle (soothing). Now if I will actually use it, who knows. I just don't like noise or bright light, especially when I'm in pain. So, I can see me listening to meditation music and turning that darn candle on to soothe my pain or cussing at my cousin's when they ask me do I want my candle on, lol.... I'm generally pretty zen and meditative when I feel stress or pain coming, something I started when my mom passed in 2013 to help me cope.

Nothing wrong with being over prepared. I'm making a list and checking it twice, lol. My Bariatric Dr. called me to follow up with in regards to the last 10 pounds I need to lose and prescribed something to help me due to the deranged hormone imbalances that plague me. I was so nervous about my surgery being canceled, but I'm honestly doing right and eating right. I was reassured that I will have my surgery, just stay the course and it will be here soon. I started this journey in September 2018, I'm so excited for all of you and myself. I never saw this in my life or even knew this was needed, the closer the 31st gets the more emotional I'm becoming (in a good way). I still have supplies to purchase and cleaning to keep me occupied. I need a surgery journal, lol but seriously.

Greek yogurt never tasted so good when liquid is your food option, I'm sure. So yummy 😊 or do you want me to hush already,lol. I'm glad you are posting updates, worried about Steve. Hydrate and rest , try to walk in the house if you can today and check back in when you are feeling up to it.

I'm tired, but I've been anxious all day thinking about surgery this month. I was wondering if I could move my date from the 31st? I'm fine, no need to change it. I'm just reading everyone's comments and I'm excited to get this going. Relax and breathe....

This is the case with my dad, he runs his mouth like a faucet. I've sworn him to secrecy and by the end of the day my phone is ringing with more traffic than Grand Central Station. I miss my mom soooooo much, she was the best at keeping a true secret.

I started seeing my Therapist again in either October or November so that I would be able to have a safe place to share my range of varying emotions. These emotions and feelings can have extreme highs and lows, I want to truly address whatever issues are going to surface and not mask anything during this rodeo.

30 more days until I have my surgery and I'm trying to keep calm, I'm ready ,but I'm not ,but I'm ready!!! I just want to cry, damn I'm crying. New Year, new ideas, better me, new life from a different perspective. 20/20 vision in 2020.

I don't have a special bathroom scale, but Target has a sale right now. I do have a scale that I keep in my bathroom and I'm currently weighing myself every morning and before I go to bed. We are very close to surgery, I need to be sure to lose these 10 pounds, so far so good.

Versed is nice....just saying. You look tired Steve, versed will "calm " your nerves and help you to relax. My surgery in August was delayed 3 times that day I requested versed each time, I felt goooooooooddddddddddddd....then lights out. I was supposed to have surgery at 9 AM but didn't have my surgery until 5 PM, they kept my anxiety down.

Amazing kind ladies, both of you. My Aunt was so annoyed that my cousin ordered from the kid's menu. She feels that she shouldn't be allowed to order from the kid's menu. 😔😞😟

Thank you for the information as well, very appreciated for the protein information. I have plenty of bariatric vitamins, I went to a Obesity conference and was given so many freebies. I also had purchased a two month supply to get started.
