I did the same thing at 5 months, but I thought just taking a sip here and there I would have been fine. I passed out. Like you I felt horrible, but we both learned from our mistake. I do hope you are feeling better and realize you are not the only one that may have a drink to soon. Do not beat yourself up over it and move on:)

Walk as much as you can. Take the dosage you are supposed to and it will get better. After about two months for me things started getting back to normal without having to use anything.

My Dr said once I lost around 50/70 pounds to redo the sleep study. I am close to 80 pound weight loss, so I went to have a full study recently. I get my results next week and pray I do not need it anymore. I have had sleep apnea since 2004. Ask you Dr when they feel you should go for a full study again to see if you still need the machine.

Congratulations on the 83 pound weight loss[emoji106] I am 9 months post op and was 263 when I started my journey and today 185 (78 pounds), but I have noticed it coming off slower now also.

Congratulations to all of you in joining the losers bench!! I am 9 months post op and have lost 78 pounds as of today:) I had my surgery out at Stony Brook Hospital on Long Island. I did not have any real issues after the surgery, except for constipation. It does correct itself just do as your surgeon tells you. I have no regrets and feel really good:) If anyone is from Long Island and interested in meeting others that have gone through this surgery also. Hi, I also have had my thyroid removed and on synth riot the rest of my life like you, but I had the Gastric Sleeve Surgery in August 2016. I am almost down 80 pounds. I had no issues with the surgery and followed all Drs orders. I am not sure if this will help you with your decision, but I only wanted the VSG and I am doing well.

Hi Everyone, i can not believe it is May 9th but feels like April 9th. How is everyone doing? In 3 months I will be a year post op and feeling good. I have been noticing a slower weight loss recently. Going to go to my Drs support group for help with trying to get at least another 20 pounds off and I will be at my goal weight. I am almost down 80 I keep going up and down 3 pounds. Which is fine need to get back into the swing of getting the weight off. I was looking to see who would be interested in meeting the first Saturday in June to catch up with everyone before the summer kicks in. Pray everyone is doing well and hope to see everyone real soon:) Elaine

Everyone stalls at some point in their journey. Right now I have been up and down 2 pounds for a month, but I also just started weight training and the nurse said my body has to adjust. Just ensure you are meeting your protein goals and drinking your fluids. The scale will start moving again?

I have had sleep apena since 2004. I recently went for another study and I now may not need it anymore. Drs have said that sleep apena gets better after the surgery. Good Luck!!!!

I can not believe it has been 8 months since my surgery and I am feeling so much better. Starting weight 263 surgery weight 249 today 188, so from highest weight I am down 75 pounds:) How is everyone else doing?

Congratulations, that the Dr took you off of your blood pressure meds. You must be feeling Wonderful!!!!!. The surgery has done so much for all of us. We are feeling better and looking great!!!! I went shopping for my vacation and was in a size 14. I dropped 10 sizes since I started my journey 8 months ago. I wish you a wonderful holiday weekend and lets seem about setting up another meeting soon....

Congratulations Jack on loosing 85 pounds!!!!! You must be feeling amazing!!!! I know that being almost 8 months post op that I truly made the right decision for. me. My knees are doing better, my blood work is normal and my back is holding up much better. I am finally glad to see the warm weather and have joined a gym to strengthen my body now. Hopefully, we can all set a date agin soon to meet up and see how e erroneous is doing. Have a wonderful Holiday weekend.
