  1. Hi Tracey,

    This is the best place to be if you are trying to make the decision. I was in here a lot while making my decision to lapband or not. I too felt like it was giving up but someone said to me "If you had cancer and were slowly dying would it be giving up to have surgery to remove the cancer?" No it wouldn't and that is what you have to remember! It is not giving up or going the easy way, it is going along on the way to good health. Imagine how wonderful it will feel when you can cross your legs again (If you can't - I can't and often dream about the day when I am skinny enough to cross my legs again!) or when you are able to do something that you are limited with today. Or focus on how much more energy you will have. Find something that motivates you and lock on. It is for you and nothing else. Forget what people will think - forget what society says - do it because YOU DESERVE IT! :thumbup:
