I was banded on Apr. 24, 2009 after years of yo-yo dieting.  I would lose the weight only to gain it back!  Lost 60 pounds doing LA Weight loss, even made a commercial!  Only to gain it back after a year!  Never made it to my desired weight!  Started of at 262 and got  down to 214!  Found it to be very expensive but very beneficial!  Walked into a group meeting at 258 and decided this is it.  With the support of my family doctor he agreed to me having the lap-band!  Submitted necessary paperwork to insurance and was approved after first submission!  Have had three fills and still not feeling restriction yet!  I have the realize band and have 7.4cc in my band hope to have one more to get my restriction.
