Hi Anita, I know what you mean about the gas but it will ease up soon. :wink_smile: I also have tenderness on the left side when taking deep breaths and bending over. I see my doctor on Wednesday and will be asking him about it. I will let you know what I find out.

Hello! I was banded May 8 and I feel great. Most of the pain is gone and there really never was bad pain for me. I began my mushies the 6th day post op and so far no problems. :woot:

Hi Susan, Thanks for the reply! My recovery is going great. I only have a little pain at one of the five surgical sites. I am now in the 'pureed' part of my diet and so far, so good! I am not hungry and become full with each meal and I hope this continues. It is hard to believe that this tool will help me succeed and I am trying to convince my mind that this will not be another failure. It will be easy to follow the strict diet as long as hunger pangs won't drag me down. I am so excited but still am keeping my hopes in check so as to not become disappointed.
