Hi Janine , good fr u , u r doing very well , thanks for u r post ,and yeh i agree with u ! it s a long and difficult journey we have to pass thru in order to get what we want ! i as banded on April ,2008. Am working very hard on that , doing exercises , limiting my caloric intake , till now I ve lost around 13 kgs and wow !!!:sad:still i need more and more to lose . I can't do anything , but waiting ! so good luck for all of us and welcome among us:biggrin2:!

Lol lol i like u r comments MSMAURANY , yeh i agree with u ! 1-Asked by u r children not to visit them in their schools, or to attend an occasion, u know why :grouphug: 2-Going with u r friends to buy cloths, standing there praising how much they look nice ,( Not being able to find something fits u) . 3-A full closet of shoes and bags ( only things am able to have and can fit easily without feeling embarressed to try) Oh me still have too many things in mind ! i am looking forward to write More things I miss about being fat. hahah Good luck for all

Hi salam , i can feel with u ! i am on the same boat! also i payed for my surg. i got one fill only , i was schedualed to get my secod fill today but since my doc is always busy he had to cancel the appoin. :smile:. it s been 3 weeks now and i didnt loose a gram !!!!!!! i feel so frustrated ! but also i didn't do any activities so hopefully next week i 'll catch a bit! hopefully next wek we'll hear something good from u r part !

:cool2:Hi to all , i was banded on the April 10th , got banded after 6 weeks , the experience was very good.But i was asked to be flat on my back to allow the port to be exposed. also i was asked to drink a cup of water , and i felt the same feeling , a lump in my throat , but the dr was not at all worried he filled me with 3 cc , i stayed like that for 3 days after that am feeling normal.since am going to a vacation , he asked me to come back in 3 weeks time to be filled again ! so am waiting !!good luck for u all ! :eek:

OHHHHHHHH my God i dont beleive it !@@!!!! u lost too much , good for u ! am newly banded ! i got my fill few days ago , almost one week , am still having difficulties in realizing am filled , still my bites r bigs and am swallowing too fast !!!! today i got my first reflux feeling: i over ate ! what do u think is it a sign of over feeding , slippage or distended esophagus !!!!!!!!!!! ( don't laugh at me:unsure:) am still new !!!!!! i promise i wil behave well tom. i will eat slow and slow!!!!!!

Good day all, yesterday i had my first fill with 3 cc ( 9cc band), i tried to sip Water i had this throat pain , but the Dr didn't seem to worry about it ! he asked me to come after 3 weeks to have another fill . i have a question concerning the diet after a fill, the dr did not mention anything about that , and i forgot to ask him, shall I be on a cerain type of diet , i mean liquid diet for 2 days , or shall i eat normally ? since yesterday i am on liquid diet , i feel myself still restricted though as i mentioned this my first fill. banded on April 10, lost till now : 24 lbs

thanks a lot of u r replies ! my throat or this bulky pain has decreased , am still on liquid diet , and yeh Soo, i agree with u concerning the 3 weeks issue , i 'll wait and see . for my Dr , the first fill usually has a little effect ! so thanks again !

thanks for the reply essieburton, and yesssssssssss am feeling hungry all time ! :biggrin2:, sometimes i feel restricted sometimes not at all ( although am not yet restricted:sneaky:.)am looking forward for this fill , but am concerned that it will not do much to me , since am reading a lot of comments on that ( i know each case is individual, but it seems this is the trend for everybody).:confused_smile:So , let' s see what s going to happen ! good luck for u also:wink_smile:

So, what do u think is it ok??? and i knew that if u r doing fine the dr will not perform a fill .what is the accepted wt loss for that ? what do u think do i need a fill !!!!!!!!! thanks in advance !!!!!!!!!!:biggrin:

lololol!!!!!!!!!! as u r reading my mind ladies ~! i have the same feeling exactly ! i was banded on the 10th of April am supposed to have my fill after 6 weeks ! am started to eat as before :smile:! am feeling depressed ! and am not losing weight :thumbup:! when i called my Dr , n told him that am not losing too much , he told me to wait and be patient ! so i'll wait and see ! so let's be patient dears and let 's see !!!!!! Thanks a lot for u r replies ! first ,Judy the pain has started 2 days only , and yes it 's not continious it goes and comes ! Yaya!, is it possible to have a gas pain after one month of being operated :biggrin:!?? As for the gallbladder am going to check this very soon ! but as far as i know ( and since am a Nurse) the gallbladder pain could be accopmanied by nausea , vomiting and some shoulder pain! Kristin ! u know i have moved to regular diet 3 days back ! and i think i over ate! ( stupid me:cursing:) i keep forgetting am banded now !!!!! i got back on my mashed diet already! thanks again !!!!!!

Hi , this is my first posting in this great forum. Please,I need u r opinion concening one thing! i was banded on the 10th of April,2008.Everything was going fine till 2 days back when I started to have this gastric pain , in my upper part of my stomach! any body has suffered from such thing .it is like an intermittent stabbing pain . PS:when i called my Dr.he told me this is from the band! So what do u think:confused2: Lost :20.5 Lb since the op. Thanks in advance ,Royalbee
