  1. I may be in panic mode!! most of my 17 came off in the first two weeks after that... it all went downhill
  2. I will get back on the treadmill and restart walking, It was extremely hard for me to walk after that severe constipation and then diarrhea but i haven't quit that. I feel I've been eating enough food, what i don't do is measure everything but i will start to do that ALL the time. thanks for your input. I do..i realize im losing inches cuz my clothes are too big now especially my pants, although I haven't measured myself at all. and maybe im suffering from body dysmorphia but I'll try to stay off the scale and do more to get the weight off. You hang in there as well, we can push each other.
  3. Thanks guys! the only thing I'm not fully getting in is the exercise due to my setback and then i had a severe constpation issue, I started the C25K but I will have to restart that next week after my (TMI) butt soreness has gone away and i can walk better. I haven't been able to consume alot as i get full really fast, I'm now beginning to hit my water goals. i have been getting in the protein thanks to the shakes but my doc told me to increase my food intake which seems like a difficult task but I'm trying. It's just so depressing that i feel im doing everything in my power to do this right and i don't feel it's working. I've stepped back from te scale everyday and now I'm on it maybe every 2 days. I'll try to stay away from it. btw, the only thing I've ever drank was water, i don't drink alcohol nor sodas and here lately, I've been drinking diet snapple which is on my list from the doc.

    Slow weight loss

No I haven't measured, funny you should say that, I asked the folk in the doc office today do they measure. I will definitely do that tho. I am a bit frustrated cuz I honestly thought I would've been further out with the weight loss by now. im doing what i think is right, I've changed a few things since being on this forum and getting advice BUT THE SCALE ISN'T WORKING WITH ME. im going to keep at it and like i told my doc today when she sees me in 2 months, I'll be under 230!! hopefully far under😁

  9. im afraid... is that normal? why? you may ask, because I don't know if I'm going to be able to stick to my regimen of timed eating/ drinking especially when I'm doing reception for the two days im always scheduled to. then my desk is waaaayyy behind God's back and with running back and forth to serve people (I work in the court) I don't know if I'll even get the time.. so im scared any tips on how you handled turning to work?

    Weight loss.

it'll get better, just don't make the mistake of rolling onto your stomach like i did one night and screamed out of my sleep in pain. I had minimal pain except for the one where my stomach came through and that one was the bruised one. just take it easy and happy healing
  13. I had mine April 9th, planned to only be put for 2 weeks with going back the day after my follow up but my body had other plans for me. with not being able to drink much and not eating, i became dehydrated and my potassium was low to the point I was feeling very weak and almost passed out in the doctor's office at that same appointment and ended up in the ER for a visit. This has kept me out until now. So we may think our bodies are ready and prepared but your body will definitely tell you if you are or not. Listen to your body and your surgeon's advice and take it one day at a time. Im now feeling much better.

    Sweating

oh nooooo! Im already always cold, I'm definitely not looking forward to being colder. I do realize that I was sweating in my face more than usual but not enough to complain. I'll take the sweat over the cold anyday!!! Why is it that you are colder after surgery?

    Weight loss.

1 week and I gained the nickname Pencil Neck. i got pics to prove it. as for the scale it is immediately due to the pre op diet and the fact you aren't eating anything. how far out are you?

    Gastric sleeve post op

I had it all, dehydration and constipation and still a little fresh off the table myself but I drank green tea and that helped. The more you walk the more the gas will "walk" its way out. Congrats and good luck.
  17. im wondering at what point is it too late to use these? do you know? im 30 days out from surgery today.
  18. GM all, I had my sleeve surgery April 9th and Im also new to this community. I feel like I'm at a stall and it's freaking me out because I'm not eating badly, nor am I getting the recommended amount of water in. I get very sick when i take the multivitamin so I've held off until i see my doc on Wednesday. I also try to get at least 70 to 80gms of protein everyday. what am I doing wrong here not to be losing anymore? I wouldn't want to have gone through this to fail.
  19. yes im slowly getting more water in, honestly i get about 2 bottles in a day.. sometimes 1 then i at least make sure i eat the popsicles cuz i stay full extremely long and can't drink. I will definitely increase tho. one other question, is it possible to gain weight in the beginning? like when you transition from liquids?
  20. Thanks Ms SSS, My calculations on mfp says im consuming about 500 to 600 at most calories. I'm only eating about 2 to 4 oz each sitting, and no regular milk for me. I'm using 2% lactose free milk but i will definitely take your advice and cut out those things and see where that brings me. btw my nutritionist told me to try the Fairlife milk also. I'll be purchasing that my next supermarket run. my starting weight was 261, day of surgery 249 and currently or at last check im 234.2 As for exercise I haven't been able to get any in since I've been very weak, dizzy and lightheaded to the point i felt like i was gonna pass out. ended up in ER straight from doc office since i almost passed out while there. I was dehydrated and potassium was low hence the bananas and they said i have kidney injury (whatever that meant). I'm going back to the doc on Wednesday and hopefully, i can start to walk as well as return to work where the walking will definitely come into play.
  21. I've been eating: breakfast: either cream of wheat with a cup of milk or 1 boiled egg with a half of avocado Morning snack: either 1 banana, protein shake with 8oz milk, sugar free popsicle, sugar free jello, unsweetened applesauce lunch: either tuna creations with 1/2 avocado and 1 boiled or 1sm baked sweet potato or sweet potato with stir fry chicken breast (it's been pretty much this) afternoon snack: either low fat cottage cheese with peaches on the bottom or sugar free any options from above snack dinner: steamed salmon, stir fry chicken, riced cauliflower, Dall, steam fresh pasta veges, and/or sweet potato evening snack: either protien shake, lowfat Greek yogurt or something from above. *For those wondering what dall is, it's curried pureed lentils also im not finishing none of these meals other than the snacks and most of the breakfast items. today i start soft foods but I'm not sure what to eat. I get bored pretty quick and as you can see i ate the same things almost every day and i hated the pureed stage. i almost just went back to only eating cream of chicken soup and cream of wheat with the sugar free items above

    Protein shakes....🤢

hi, Body Fortress Whey Protien is good. I only like the chocolate one. I tried the cookies and cream and that's not bad either.

    Back to work today!!

I had my sleeve April 9th, and felt good the first week but a week and a half out I began feeling really sick then upon my follow up, i started feeling like I was going to pass out and weak. doc told me that was normal. So just don't overdo it and take your time. now that I'm on pureed im beginning to feel stronger and hopefully I will be returning to work on Thursday, originally Iwas supposed to be back April 24th. You are definitely a strong woman. good luck on your journey.
