Hi again, I see where you asked about cost. I paid 8k for mine and had it done in Mexicalli, MX right across from San Diego, CA. My husband paid 7800 (cost has went down some since the new Johnson & Johnson band has came out) and had it done at the same place...They were great...Dr. Aceves has a web site it is Untitled Document feel free to contact them if you are interested. Dr. Corvala in Tijuana is my surgeon. Hospital Angeles is terrific. I used World Med Assist and they coordinated all my details for me. You can contact them and they are so helpful and caring. Tell them I gave you their name. I worked with Woeter (Wow-ter) for my surgery. www.worldmedassist.com I booked my own plane ticket, but they will do this too if you need them too. Good luck to you! Hi Debbie, I too would want to know more of your experience. I am at my wits end and am totally ready to have this done. I have looked at many doctors offering this service in Mexico and it sounds very tempting. Although I have my concerns, I have read testimonials but would love some reassurance from someone like you who has recently experienced. I also will be a self pay since my insurance does not cover "ANY" weight loss surgery. So if you dont mind me asking as well about costs. If not, I surely understand. Thanks!
