I just splashed the filter cleaner on my very favorite and new 'fat' shirt. Surgery in one week. Big BBQ at my house tomorrow night. Have only 1... maybe 2 more shirts that I really like. Should I ................A) go buy another one or ............................:mad: forgetaboutit, buy a new smaller one in a few weeks :biggrin1:

whats your opinion about sleeve gastrectomy

I have heard of it, but not sure exactly what it involves. If as the name implies, it involves a sleeve that goes over the stomach to reduce the overall size, I think it sounds bloody brilliant. -

OK so now I am curious. What now? Do you keep the fill the same and up your calories or do you get a defill to maintain your weight? Just curious! Anybody at goal can answer. TIA!

I am one of the dorks too. And I too, am greatful for the wonderful responses I have gotten here. Good luck diva! I am getting close to and can't stop the butterflies everytiem I think of it.

I am waiting for a call and time for a pre op appointment too. I think I have to go into the hospital on Thursday. I am from out of town, so at least I know that. Will phone Wednesday if I don't hear earlier. We will have to have some kind of hand signal to recognize each other in the hospital. lol How about an L to the head, L for Leung.....:confused:

Gilbert, I read a bit of your blog, seems as though we are being worked on by Dr. Leung on the same day......apparently, he does 2 surgeries every Friday. Paula It is getting closer and I have butterflies.............:confused:

Please tell me, can one have surgeries too close together? I could be called any day for a day surgery and my lap band surgery is July 21st. Is there anything to be concerned about if they are close together? with regard to general anethesia? Thanks in advance I'll be a pin cushion this summer.

:biggrin1: I am scheduled to be banded July 21st. Dh and I are taking the kids to Disney 2-4 months later. Dumb question #1.......:nervous Can I go on the scary rides without damaging anything, or am I going to have to sit there lame and watch all the fun.

MJK, how about just repeating over and over, "It's all under control" Soon they will tire of it. I hope they do. I am preband, but am actually thinking of joining WW just to say, WW when asked. -
