  1. Hey, Julie, how are you feeling? I think you are almost 5 weeks out now? Have your incisions healed over? just phoned my local ps for a consult today. I am waiting for a consult date. :giggle:
  2. Sounds appropriate since you are a runner. I'd like that too, just a bit of a filler up.
  3. Oh btw, what kind of boobs are 'we' getting?
  4. I don't even know what to say. You must be so stinking, fricken excited at the new you. I just kissed you on the screen....lololol! You gorgeous thing you......
  5. As I get close to goal, 6 pounds, I am finding myself being hypercritical of my poor old body. 98 pounds ago, I'd have just been happy to be below 200, then at 190, I would have just been happy to be in the 80s. Now I am close I am being hypercritical of each and every flaw. My head knows I will never be perfect. I am not striving for perfection, but I don't want to be like this. This beautiful body has gone through a lot to get here and I am hoping that when I get to goal and perhaps have a TT, that I will be happy enough to let it go. Am I alone here? Are you self-hypercritical? (and is that a word?)

    Being hypercritical.

Thanks my dear. And it is YOU who taught me this. Being almost my height. I really am not a big boned gal. Yes, I did look OK at 200, I look great at 178, but as I get lower, each pound really makes a HUGE difference in tweaking things. hugs my dear fellow Tall Girl.

    Being hypercritical.

Perhaps part of this 'phenomenon' is that the band makes this all possible. At Weight Watchers this may have been about as far as I could have previously gone, 24.4 BMI, but with the band, I know I can aim for the middle of the BMI or even lower. 175 for me is the heaviest weight in the 'normal weight' range for BMI. But if I want, I can aim for lower. The band makes this all possible and for that, I am eternally grateful. Paulax, 3 pounds from goal, but with a bit of tummy fat yet to get rid of.

    You've lost enough weight...

Julie, you are not gaunt. Gorgeous yes, gaunt no. Goal will be ours, my dear twin. Recently, my dh told me I could gain a little back. HA! Not happening. I told him I weight more than your average MAN. That I will get to goal, and that goal for me is 175.... Yes, my dear, goal WILL be ours.

Thanks you guys. I feel friggen fantastic. I hit the 100 pound mark today and I just can't even believe it. Ready2bthin, I was stuck for 6 months. My last fill took me to 3.2 and that was what was needed to get things moving again. Good luck with your fill. The thing that never ceases to amaze me is that with the band, it is possible. 4 to goal today........................................

Who Has Lost Over 100 Pounds?!?!

I hit my 100 pound weight loss this morning. Thankyou, thankyouverymuch~! It took me 16 months and I have only 4 more to go. Quite literally, this has been a weight off my back. Everything is easier, exercising, getting up, walking, living.....I just am exstatic.

Friggen freezing up here in Canader. Thanks guys, I just peaked at a bottle of wine my banded girlfriend gave me when I got banded. It is called Santa Paula.....lol! Countdown to goal.....

Oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Just about in tears over here. I broke into the 70's this morning. 178-179. Honestly, I don't remember being in the 70s SINCE THE 70s. The 70s is where I want to stay. (goal 175- BMI 24.4) So wow! I am amazed with myself. I have been stepping it up at the gym and focusing on clean eating. GROOOOOOVVEY MAAAAN!!!! So roughly 4 pounds to goal I HAVE to go take another picture....

    Opposite sex opportunities

Well, I am very open minded. I have a good friend having affairs to make up for what she feels she lacks at home. Although she intelligizes her decisions, I worry about her safety. I also know a 'swinging' couple. I don't judge either of these friends, although I can say at least the 'swining' couple are honest with each other. When I was 98 pounds heavier, I thought I could have been a nun, if you know what I mean. I too have noticed my libido return and with the weight loss, I feeling beautiful again. I notice attention too, but I take it as ya, some men would 'do' anyone. lolol.... I told my dh, that we only have each other, so we may as well make it good. We have both made an attempted effort to make each other feel desired again. Not easy with 3 young kids, but we make sure we have alone time, every day, and date night at least once a week. I guess it depends on where you stand with regard to your values. But I suggest you start within. It has been good for me. Hey, you are feeling attractive and desirable again and I think that is wonderful. Bravo the band!
