I read one of your comments to another user and happened to notice your surgery date was 2 days ago! Just wanted to stop by and say congratulations on your new tool, rest up & heal well!!
I look forward to my surgery (hopefully in about 7 mos., I'm at the beginning of my process). You inspire me & I look forward to hearing more about your journey & successes

To tell or not to tell

I have not told anybody besides my husband and kids and a few in my family. But I would rather keep it that way. -
My moment came back in January of this year. I decided that I want to get healthy. More for my 4 sons. Last year I had started to gain what I had lost on my own. In 2015 I was the highest of 736lbs. I got down to 516lb but I gained 100lbs back. The day I seen the surgeon I was 601lbs. As of the 23rd of April I am 573lbs. My surgery is next Monday. I am not worried and I am not scared. I am ready for this. What made me even more sure is when I went to get my medical clearance the did my ekg and found I had a mini heart ache in the recent past. That made my choice even more solid. If you really want this you will stay with it. When you feel like you going to back down again. Stop yourself take a breath and remember why you are doing this.

I would love to join this but I am due for surgery on the 6th for my bypass. I am right now on a liquid diet. So there is no food besides the soups, protein shakes, sf puddings, sf jello, and greek yogurt going in right now. I just want to get past my surgery and heal completely before the beach days with my sons. I want to be able to get in that ocean water as well
