I had 3 on my lower stomach under my belly button, one on my right side, and 2 on the left. Total of 6 holes.

My surgery was also on Friday, and I agree with you, recuperation at the beginning is painful. It’s a daily struggle for me to get my fluids in, sometimes I get nauseous, and my stomach weighs me down, because I’m still swollen. I truly think in a few more weeks, we’ll feel better.

Hi everybody, finally the nausea has gone away, and I’m feeling like myself again. I also had a moment when I thought I may have made a mistake. I would like to eat a scrambled egg, or a bowl of farina, something other than liquid.

I’m 4 days post op (5/24), and I have no pain or discomfort, but I’m so nauseated, I feel terrible. I’m not dehydrated because I’m getting over 60 ounces of liquid in. I took a pill that my surgeon gave me for nausea and they do help a little, but I hate this feeling. Anyone else on the May surgery list feel the same?

Today I am 4 days post op. I’m so tired of the liquid diet.....lucky I get to see my surgeon in 2 days, I’m hoping he’ll add something new to my diet. I started drinking one half of a protein shake yesterday and it tasted wonderful, I did get nauseated afterwards, perhaps I drank it too quickly. I’m going to have to drink a lot more slowly. But as far as pain goes, I no longer have pain. Nausea is my enemy these days. Any one else?

I’m on post op day 2, surgery was May, 24. I’m feeling pretty good, but I’m having trouble getting down the sugar free stuff. It tastes nauseatingly sweet. I am able to get sugar free jello down, and plenty of water, not much of anything else. Tomorrow I start my protein shakes, hoping I’ll like them. I am walking a lot, so that’s helping a lot, but it’s not easy.

My surgery is on May 24th! I don’t have to do a liquid diet, but I am drinking half cup of warm water with the juice of half lemon each morning. My surgeon has had me doing this for the past month. It’s suppose to detox the body.

Hi everyone, my date was June 3rd, but I was bumped up to May 24th. I’m a bit nervous, but excited at the same time. I am a mother of 2 children, happily married, living in Florida. I’m done with all my pre-op tests, diets, and happy to start my new life soon! I will keep all posted!
