Dr Billy Ventura California
cagirlv replied to legallyblonde2's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Hey Guys!! I'm a Ventura County girl too. If you guys do meet I'd love to meet with you too. Would you be intersted in starting a meetup.com group with me? -
Hi! I think outside of the box too since my tummy really doesn't like breakfast. Eggs usually made me sick and after awhile especially on hot days oatmeal isn't too fun. So, I started eating protein in the form of chicken. Since I have low iron levels to begin with, I make chicken ahead of time and slice it into small pieces and then pack a little baggie with a few slices for breakfast. Having the protein really jump starts my day and gets me going.

Pleae do not feel embrase this is not a fashion show meeting. This is a healthy lifestyle change. I was worried too, but felt at ease since almost everyone that attends the meetings will look exactly like you and it will put you at ease. I've just one week post op but I've been told carbonaed beverages such as soda and beer are out but wine is okay. Just think of it as changing to a more spohisticated drink in celebration of your new body. :biggrin2:

Thank you for the responses about feeling pregnant and needing to hold your stomach. I thought i was going crazy for a few days there. i've thought about getting a pregnancy band and wearing that or even wrapping tummy in an ace bandage since i can't go around holding my tummy everywhere i go especially since i work in an office that is all about the power suit. any suggestions on what to do?

Why does it feel that there is a lump just under my breastbone below my bra near my tummy? It hurts? Has anyone right after surgery felt like their tummy is still sore and it is easier tohold their tummy?
