Be PERSISTENT on talking to your program support people. I'd even recommend calling your surgeon, if your program allows that. This is NOT normal, and you DESERVE to this addressed. I sometimes still get this cue, but at 23 months it's MUCH harder to feel full than it was at 1st. O don't often have that regurgitation issue anymore, but I DID have it consistently, and for a while. HATED. IT!! & it still occasionally happens, but now rarely. ALWAYS when I have too much or, more likely, eat too FAST! But if you're following all the guidelines and still regularly having this problem, call your surgeon so they can help! It could be a sign of something else happening, and you'll want to know that! Good luck!

Hey guys. I am 10 days Post Op Sleeve and I am down 27lbs! That awesome to me and scary at the same time. Dr says it great. He did sound a little shocked though.

Is this normal? How much weight did you lose in the first week?

I want to know once your surgery is done can you have fluids right away and is it painful to walk afterwards and how long is the hospital stay for the gastric sleeve can some help I have 2 more months.

Hi guys surgery went well on the 15th. Came home on the 16th. On the 17th took shower and sister assisted me with pullonh on the new dressing. Well she accidentally cut my drainage cord. So i had to go into the dr office and he just removed the port. That was the must painful feeling after. Feels like a baby head is being pulled out of a belly. Then the biggest gas bubble pasted. So now I dont have to go in to get it removed. So gave it a early dr visit.

July 15th! Still in the hospital, had complications with Fluid intake after procedure. 2nd day a lot better than 1st.

****Update**** BCBS has approved sleeve surgery!!! I'm on schedule for 7/31. I'm super excited!!

I have told only the people I wanted to know. I have told my family. I think you should tell your mom. She may want to be with you. Surgeries are important. I have told my twin sister everything (insurance stuff).Just in case.

I like having my own soap and washcloth.Comfortable loose clothes to wear home.

Mine is the 15th also. I’m supposed to start my 2 week liver shrinking diet on this coming Monday. I think I’m more nervous about the next two weeks than I am about the actual surgery. Do you have a pre-surgery diet to follow?

Omg I start the liver shrink diet Monday also. It is going to be a different two weeks

I've had all these thoughts too ... Meanwhile my husband (we're having it done together) is nonchalant as ever LOL

ETA: I worded my reply wrong. I haven't had these same exact thoughts as you but ive gone through a similar cycle of emotions as I get closer. I have never thought about cancelling but it has been a jumble of excitement, fear, anxiety, happiness. 22 days seems so far and so close at the same time.

I just got the call this a.m. that my insurance has approved my surgery!!!!!! Omg.... Sooooo excited. Surgery date is July 22nd. I start my liquid diet on July 8th. This is really happening! I have so many different emotions right now! Is there anyone else having Surgery on July 22nd?
