I had my surgery back in 2019. Ever since I’ve had body pain problems. So they put me on t3 which I’ve been on for only four months now. I just experienced constipation the past few days and finally went today. It was painful and I felt like I was going to pass out. But ever since I’ve been nauseous and EXTREMELY gassy and didn’t know if anyone else has experienced this. I tried googling it but nothing came up so I want to assume maybe it’s a rny issue.

Being able to see while I shave my below bits 😂 -
So I’m coming up on my three year mark. I had my gastric bypass March 27,2019. I started above 330lbs and got down to 214lbs. Found out I was pregnant a month before my one year post op. During my pregnancy I could tell my pouch was “more relaxed” to allow me to eat more to make sure my baby got what he needed. I got rid of my diabetes and high blood pressure before pregnancy and developed gestational towards the end so I was induced and I gave birth September 30, 2020 and I tried breastfeeding which made me always hungry still. I stopped because I was unable to produce but I am still so hungry. My weight has stayed at 224-227lbs since birth. But I wanted to do a pouch reset. I tried it before but my stomach would burn and I’d feel nauseous and uncomfortable. I didn’t know if anyone else has experienced that. I stopped after a couple days because it was a terrible feeling. I didn’t know if I should “push thru” it and keep going because it’s normal or not.

Thank you so much! My Dr and his nurse (the only two people I would visit) retired recently so when I call I get rude people so I stopped contacting them. Definitely gonna come here more often. I started do it again with one small meal and the rest liquids and protein shakes and I’ve already lost 5lbs (probably water weight) but with the one meal a day it helps prevent the burning sensation.

Thank you imma stick to it this time. I just feel like I’m failing even more since the whole Covid thing starting. I’m thankful I’ve been able to stay the same even tho I feel like I eat a lot. But I wanna get below 200 at least. I only got below 200 in early pregnancy because of nausea but I felt so good at that weight even if it wasn’t my overall goal.

After surgery I would take a normal bariatric vitamin after getting pregnant I started the one for pregnancy bariatric patients and now my b12 is really high it’s 1354 pg/ml. Has anyone had the issue of it being to high?

So I was blessed with our rainbow baby a year after my surgery. And while pregnant I could tell my stomach size adjusted to hold more to support a baby. Like the farther along I got the more my stomach would tell me it’s hungry or require more meals more frequently and towards the end I would eat bigger meals. PLEASE DONT LECTURE ME I WASNT GOING TO STARVE MY GROWING BABY. But I knew my body would only tell me I was hungry if it needed it but anyway I’m breastfeeding and supplementing since I can’t produce enough milk for him. I was wanting to do a liquid diet for awhile to help my tummy “return to normal” or help me get back to smaller meals and no carbs. I didn’t start eating carbs until I got pregnant but here I am almost three months post and still eating carbs like pizza and burger (yes I know I shouldn’t but I still have pregnancy cravings because of breastfeeding) I’m hoping doing the liquid diet will fix my cravings to. How long should I do a liquid diet for before moving back to the (solids)high protein diet? I haven’t gained a lot I went from 214lbs to 250lbs while pregnant and right after birth I went down to 218lbs but now I’m back to 237lbs and want to get this under control before it gets out of hand. And possibly get below my prepregnancy weight and reach my overall goal of 180lbs.

What’s your opinion on waist training after surgery? I’m debating on doing it and my dr says pregnancy is worse on your body than waist training. I just want to get some curves and some have said it helps with loose skin and back rolls. But I want some opinions. Have any of you done it?

To those who have had any of the surgeries who have gotten pregnant after. Did they make you do the glucose test? I would imagine that would make me super sick and miserable. If not what did they end up having you do? I had rny if that makes a difference. And Friday I’ll be 26weeks so I didn’t know what to expect. They are aware I had surgery but haven’t said if they will have me do the glucose drink test or if they’d do something else.

Pregnancy and weight loss/gain
PudgeBeGone replied to bodycando's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
But baby is healthy and growing. In the beginning he was measuring a week smaller but at our 23 week sono his arms and legs measured at 26weeks so his estimated weight was i think .4oz higher than most 23 week babies which was good considering they worried he would be on the smaller side because of the surgery. I do see a high risk dr along with my obgyn because of the surgery and because I used to have diabetes and high bp. But going to the high risk dr means I get to see him monthly to make sure he’s okay💙 -
Pregnancy and weight loss/gain

I got pregnant at 11 months post op and lost weight in the first few months due to nausea. I’ll be 26 weeks Friday and I’m just now 3lbs more than what I was when I first got pregnant my dr actually asked if I was eating enough(I assured her I was I eat more than I did before being pregnant which I guess is totally normal since our body can only hold so much at a time then it passes quickly and being pregnant you require more for baby). Once nausea went away I did notice I was hungry more frequently and if I’m being honest I still am 😅 I usually eat or at least have a snack every 2-3 hours. -
I got pregnant 11months post op. We will be 26 weeks on Friday. I lost 16lbs in the beginning because of nausea and I’m just now 3lbs over what I was when I first got pregnant. If I’m being honest we decided to start trying in November and got pregnant in January because my weight stabilized and due to our past we thought it would take longer even tho they say your fertility goes up after surgery (had five miscarriages and was told there was little to no chance of conceiving naturally even with weight loss) so far everything is perfect he was a little smaller in the beginning I assume because of morning sickness but quickly passed what he’s supposed to be measuring at once I started eating again. @23 weeks his arms and legs were measuring at 26weeks and his estimated weight is a little higher than most at 23 weeks since he’s measuring longer. I do go to a high risk dr along with my obgyn because of the surgery and because I previously had high blood pressure and diabetes because they say even if they went away you’re at higher risk(than those who haven’t had either) for developing it during pregnancy. But I get to see him monthly which is the one positive of having to go to the high risk dr.

I posted awhile ago that I found out I was pregnant. And when I went my drs gave me a whole lecture even tho I was just a month shy of what I was supposed to wait (we weren’t trying I was told I had less than a 1% chance of ever having a baby because I’ve suffered several miscarriages in the past) anyway they scared the hell outta me and made me think this pregnancy wasn’t going to be successful. But I am currently 20 weeks and expecting a baby boy 💙 the baby has a two vessel cord so they are keeping a close eye on him but everything looks good! Only the BPD was measuring a bit behind (only 2-3days) everything else was either measuring right or a few days ahead 💙 early pregnancy I lost 14lbs due to nausea and not being able to eat or drink Protein Shakes but a month or two in the nausea started going away so I started getting 90-100g of Protein to catch back up. Pre pregnancy I was 212lbs and I got down to 197.6lbs I’m currently half way thru and just now gaining weight so I think I’m doing well. this morning I was 205.4lbs. My obgyn asked me if I was eating because I wasn’t gaining anything and was actually loosing 😅 (they are aware I had the surgery I go to them and a specialist because I was previously a diabetic, had multiple miscarriages, and had rny) I assured her I’m eating a lot more than I did before getting pregnant. I’m hungry every two hours which is INSANE because if I don’t eat something I start to feel sick and before getting pregnant I would get the feeling of true hunger maybe once a day 🙄 but I read that is normal since our tummy’s can only fit so much and with a baby our bodies require more. I just wanted to post an update because I’m SUPER EXCITED and feel so blessed that I’ve been given the chance to create life. We’re having our rainbow/miracle baby and I am just so happy 💙🌈

Thank you 💙💙 I know hubby was low key judging me for taking so many he asked a few times why I kept doing it 😅 -
Before surgery I would use cbd honey to help me sleep. I am currently smoking weed but The honey always helped me sleep better. Did anyone have any issues eating honey after surgery? I don’t wanna buy a $60 honey if I can’t eat it 😂

So I had rny March 27,2019. I’ve already posted about being pregnant and yes I am aware it’s recommended to wait 12-18months after surgery. So i don’t want any lectures. But I know pregnancy usually comes with acid reflux or heartburn. Well since the surgery I haven’t had any but now my tummy has a burning sensation. That thankfully hasn’t been traveling up to my throat. Today is the first day I felt it in my chest. I am currently around 9 weeks so the nausea is starting to slowly going away. But now that the nausea is going away the acid reflux or heartburn is starting to become more noticeable/bothersome. But I didn’t know if any of you had tips on helping get rid of it or dull the burning. I’ve been trying the equate heartburn/gas chews that don’t seem to be helping(I can’t stomach the normal chalky tums the texture makes me nauseous) I read somewhere omeprazole is okay but then others say no. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you in advance 💜💜

February 5th I found out I am indeed pregnant. I’m close enough to what’s recommended (march27,2019 is my surgery date) so I don’t want any lectures. This is for the ladies who have successfully gotten pregnant after wls did you have healthy and successful pregnancies? Did you have any complications?

Pregnancy after gastric bypass
PudgeBeGone replied to PudgeBeGone's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Thank you for the response💜 I’ve seen a lot of people get pregnant after surgery but then they stop updates so I didn’t know if everything was okay during their pregnancies. I was just thinking about what I’m supposed to do when it comes to the drink in the future 😅 the ginger sticks are the at home sugar level testers correct? Or is that something the doctors do? I have a tester is why I ask. -
I’m to much of a chicken to try thc edibles my mom had gastric bypass also and ate a single mini cookie and was trippin 😂
