OMG...……..I feel exactly the same way. Been prepping for 6months(insurance waiting period)and my Surgery date is Sept 9 and I am CONVINVCED that something will go wrong and the surgeon wont do it. I guess my insecurities are really showing their ugly colors. Fingers crossed

As a result of all these surgeries, I cant walk more than 1minute without being in excruciating pain. Forgot to tell that as a result of inactivity from back issues, I put on about 60lbs. I refuse any more back surgeries so my PCP suggested look into Bariatric Surgery. So I'm doing it more for medical reasons than anything else.

Well I finally have my surgery date set for Sept 9. Been a tough 6 months (had to wait for insurance approval), but I made it., I am on vacation this week and I find myself taking that one last "fling" as far as eating and drinking goes. I'm back to all of my old ways and feeling very guilty about it but I just cant seem to stop. All my old BAD eating habits are back and it happened just like that. Is this normal? I feel that what the heck. Im having the surgery and if anything will get me back on track, that will., Anyone else had similar experience???

I am caught in a loop. I have chronic back pain(3spinal surgeies in pas 4 years) and still suffer. Have put on 50lbs because of lack of exercise bu cant excercise because of the pain and cant lose weight because I cant exercise. My primary recommended Gastric Sleeve and use it as a tool, and not a cure. NEuroloist cant do anything more. ......................any suggesions? Oh. almost forgot. Harvard/Pilgrim will not cover Chronic Back Pain AS A CO-MORBID CONDITION
