Wow that’s crazy that’s the kids portion! It blows my mind to see that much food and think I use to eat that and more.

Got my labs back. Everything looks good, so Drs saying it’s just a “bug” Ive picked up. He’s also got me doing some different stretches to help with the muscle cramps I’ve been having in my calves. Wow that’s awesome some of you are almost to goal! Congrats to all of you! I’ve still got 88 lbs till I’m at goal. @Sheribear68. I’ve been a slow loser too. I’m bringing up the rear with you :) We will both get there! @AZhiker this bug has done the same to me. Ive lost my appetite completely and meat makes me so nauseated. I finally found today that the SF popsicles go down good and I feel so much better after eating them. Thinking I’m not eating enough? So it’s back to liquids for a little bit and concentrating on getting fluids in. Baby steps, or as you said slowly crawling back to normal. I’m also going to try the BRAT thing you posted. I too worry I won’t be able to reach my goal at all. But try and keep reminding myself that I’m “only” 4 months out. I’ve supposedly still got 8 months of honeymoon phase to get to goal. I try not to compare myself to others, but dang if it’s not easy to. The body dysmorphia has been strong this last week. My family keeps pointing out all the places I’ve lost or how good I’m looking, but I can’t see it. I’ve been feeling like I’ve not lost any weight. Or Ive noticed spots on me where I have lost and it’s so weird to feel my bones that it kind of freaks me out. I get its all head games. The mind is so weird sometimes. You are correct, it is from so much change in a short amount of time.

I started losing a lot of hair daily. Luckily it’s thick, so I have some wiggle room. I’m taking double my biotin and collagen, but it doesn’t seem to matter. I think it boils down to protein and water intake, which I’m sucking at. Had some major trigger events two weeks in a row and I noticed I had been eating carbs a lot more than I had been. The last three days I’ve hardly eaten anything, as my stomach is either upset or I just don’t have a desire to eat. Which is probably the cause of my feeling tired a lot. I’m also goi g to see if my Dr can run my labs. I’m thinking I might be a bit anemic. Everyday is a new day to start back on track though. So here’s hopping tomorrow is better. I did have a NSV. I now weigh well below the required weight limit to do indoor skydiving. I went this last Saturday for the first time ever. It was fun, but nerve racking as the flight suit was a little snug in the hips area. But never the less I did it! I also pulled out last years shorts and they are too loose on me! That is another positive NSV. Trying to stay on the positive side, even though the tummy is not happy right now. Hope we all have a better June!

I am happy to say my stall is broken! Weighed myself today and I dropped almost 10lbs this week!! 😱I went back and tried to focus on getting more protein and water in and I finally started back at the gym. Going to keep focusing on the protein and water intake and see if this continues. Thanks everyone for the encouragement and ideas! Hope you are all having a wonderful week!

Interesting. I’m using the patches right now, but I’m using them with a dash of skepticism. I saw a ton of reviews saying they worked and their labs were fine. I switched to patches bc the pills cause stomach cramping. Hmmm... 🤔 Good to know too about the Ursodial. It hurts my stomach too, but I get it’s a necessary evil. I’m increasing my protein and water to see if that will kick my stall to the curb. Thanks for the info.

Hi Transforming_T--welcome to the group! I believe taylormom6 is correct. I'm pretty sure no one in this group has lost an average of 70 lbs post op. I had gastric bypass on February 13 and personally have lost about 35 pounds. I do not exercise much, but I do try to get out and walk around 5,000 steps a day. According to the Internet, that's an "underactive" person. Ha! It's much more active than before! I think you're doing great, but it's a bummer about your stall since April 9...maybe you are resetting? You lost a lot of weight since surgery! Sorry about the Hair loss. Is it coming out in clumps? My hair is super thin and I am started to feel it thinning even more.... fortunately no clumps yet, just thinning more where the part is. So sad. Overall I'm doing well, but still dealing with a lot of wind, some cramping, some chest pressure, some frustration...I guess better than some, as I know some in our group are wrestling with horrible nausea. Thank you all for responding. I’m glad (?) to hear we are all in the general same place. As for my hair, yeah it’s coming out in clumps sadly. It started off slow and then suddenly was clumps. I started using the vitamin patches from BP a little over a week ago (pills had been giving me terrible stomach cramps and nausea) and today was the first day that it hasn’t come out in a big clump when I brush it. So fingers crossed! I’ve been dealing with gas and wind too. I added Miralax back in, so that could be my culprit. I’ve also gotten the foamies the last few days when I eat a protein solid. It’s like I suddenly can’t eat as much as I could a week ago. I’m still able to get food in, so I don’t think it’s a structure. Just body adjustments I think.

Hi everyoneI I don't think I've posted in here before. I'm more of a lurker. I had surgery on Feb 6, 2019. I'm 5' 6". My HW was 323, SW was 305, and I'm currently bobbing between 268-273. I've been stalled at the bobbing point since April 9th. My question is, I see a lot of you have lost 70+ lbs. Does this seem to be the average for most all of us who had surgery in Feb? I know starting weight is a factor, as well as age and many other things. I'm being honest with my self here, I don't work out like I need to be (Low energy). i'm loosing inches though. I'm down 27 inches from my surgery. Which is what's keeping me somewhat sane. Also my hair started falling out two weeks ago 😕 I knew it was possible, so I wasn't too shocked about it. Point of all this is; How and where is everyone in their journey?
