Hmmmmmm .. not SO pleased! I don't speak to them much. I saw Dr. Fass once and then it was approved. I don't know though, the receptionist, is rude. Gayle is ok though she is much better to speak with. I have another appointment Thursday, and if I don't feel very comfortable I am going to switch doctors. Seeems like most people enjoy their experience in MX.... who will do your fills when you return? Are you going alone?

I will be alone ... I have done most of the steps alone. I pulled one of my friends arms to go meet the surgeon with me. But for the most part ... it's been allllllll alone! So I will drive myself to the hospital and hitch hike home I guess... LOL! Uh yeah NO home is an hour away :wink2:! Someone will probably pull through at the last minute!

Tricare is pretty quick with approvals...You can check the website for updates 24/7....If I were you ... I would go to the office and explain your delimna and I would hope they would do it ... right then! My gosh I know that sucks...Does your surgeon require a pre op diet? If not then if they would finally go ahead and submit it....you won't have long to go considering you have done everything else. Good luck!

I too have to abide by a pre op diet, and don't know how I am going to do it! :smile: However, the staff stressed to me over and over. If you do not follow the diet, and he goes in for surgery, and your liver is in the way. He will not complete the surgery due to risks involved with your liver not being shrunk. So I would be honest with the doctor so you won't go under and have to come back without the band. Let him make the call instead of going in blindly.
