I am like 7 weeks post op and I’ve been dealing with a stall for almost two weeks and it’s making me feel worried like I am the first medical mystery case that didn’t lose weight. My dietician told me not to count and to just eat consciously and that’s what I’ve been doing. Protein first and almost no carbs because I don’t even have the room after the protein. Granted, I am not exercising like I should but not losing doesn’t make sense looking at how little I can eat.

I guess it’s kind of nice to see that I am on track with everyone psychologically :) I can’t wait until I am at least 6 months out.

Protein foods for kids
curtains replied to curtains's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Thanks so much. They only consumed very little amount but it still worried me so I asked you guys. I’ll bring it up with my nutritionist too. Thanks for the suggestion, I am getting the app. -
Hello, my kids (6 and 2.5) are all over my protein pancakes (from a mix) and protein bars and protein shakes. I was wondering if they’re ok eating and drinking this stuff.

Ugh! I am 15 days post op and I did a bad thing and I hate myself for it. I ate half of my kids kinder surprise egg and I feel terrible. Physically and mentally. I melted it on my mouth but why did I have to do that?! I am reading forums and blogs to see what happens and if anyone has ever done it but looks like I am the only big mouth that couldn’t stay away. Please tell me it’ll be ok.

Thank you so much! I found about people eating a cookie and ended up at the hospital for two weeks. My BP and pulse went sky high! I took a walk and had a nice cry now I am back to normal. I don’t think I’ll ever stray any time soon. My hospital and dietician didn’t arm me with a lot of information so I didn’t even know sugar could hurt your sleeve! I only thought it was a bad choice diet-wise.

Hello Brand new here. I was wondering if it’s normal to feel hungry and actually crave foods after the sleeve surgery? I was hoping my appetite would vanish like magic but I am daydreaming about all the food and then sipping water. It’s getting frustrating and it makes me hopeless about when I am allowed to chew and eat real food that I might choose the wrong stuff.

curtains replied to 2Bsmaller18's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My first period after surgery came on day 4-5 post op. It was two weeks early! Doc said the blood thinner shots might have caused it.
