I am just over three years out, lost about 80 pounds and want to lose 40 more. It does get harder with time and I need to get in and get a fill, as I have lost some focus. But I am not gaining, so this is better than any diet I have ever been on. Went from size 24 to 14-16, and basically feeling ten times better. -

I see Dr. Gazayerli whose office is in Troy on Big Beaver and was banded at Harper Hospital. Dr. G is a band patient himself and was banded by the same surgeons who did Khaliah Ali's surgery. He is very easy going and an excellent surgeon. -

I am from Canton and can't find a support group either. My surgeons office disbanded his due to poor participation and I haven't found another. Why don't we all plan to meet one Saturday morning and start our own group? -
Hi Judy,
I will be banded on June 11 by Dr. Gazayerli. I just wanted to say hi and see how you're doing. I really like him - and it helps that he, too, and his daughter are banded. He really understands.
Have you attended any of the support group meetings? I showed up there last week but noone turned up. I was disappointed because I think the support is very important. Have you gone to any other groups?

Anyone Used Port Huron Lapband Center

U used Gazayerlie too and he is very kind and banded himself. My only complaint is that he is not as aggressive in fills as some other docs so I am losing more slowly, but I haven't pushed it either.
