  1. So I switched up diet today, your thoughts: 9am - Coffee with vanilla soy milk 12:30 - protein shake 1:30 - 3 small meat balls and small portion of salad 2:30 - frozen ice lolly 5pm - hard boiled egg 7pm - minestrone soup with beans 8:30pm - piece of cheese I am so hungry throughout the day though, my hunger is back.
  2. @FluffyChix the average based on what statistic from where? Please send link to your source.
  3. @FluffyChix with regards to your comment about how much men or women should lose according to your ‘stats’. Whats true about one person is not necessarily the same to all.
  4. @FluffyChix I am sorry I thought you saw my profile, which lists my sex and info. Still, I am surprised because my surgeon and my nutritionists forbid me from eating nuts, which you wrote here for me to eat. They say that for the first 18 months at least it is very dangerous. I am surprised you call my weight loss of 55lbs crap, my surgeon says it is a normal pace for my size as to get the MGB I want really obese, I was about 80lbs over weight, so i have lost already most of it and want to lose another 25lbs as the total. When I started I was 264lbs for a 6'1 male. I am now 211lbs, and I want to be about 185 is my target weight. Anyways, i am surprised really about the nuts comment. I was told to never touch them and avoid them las much as possible. Weird.
  5. @FancyChristine15 perhaps my diet was misunderstood. I am not eating pretzels all day and asking why am I gaining weight, lol. Porridge for brunch and rixe cracker or tune or meat ball, what I dont understand is how i can fit it all in. Isn't my pouch suppose to restrict me?and why am i starving?? If I was able to eat only 3 meals a day then I would not have had the surgery to begin with. I am starving all day, why?
  6. @mousecat88 what really baffles me though, is how I can fit it all in. Isn't my pouch suppose to be small, how can I eat a bowl of porridge or a papaya and banana and a half hour later 2 yoghurts. I just dont understand.
  7. @mousecat88 thank you for that! Yes a 2kg gain is about 4.5lbs, which btw I went back on the scale and saw I dropped 1kg since writing this post. I lost 55lbs by the same diet i been on since after surgery.
  8. If I ate only 600-800 calories I would be starving. I am starving every day, like really starving.
  9. @FancyChristine15 I am not being defensive, two people here started causing me as a 'hoax'. My diet has made me lose 55 lbs so far, I have a proper nutritionist and with respect, I asked for input correct, but not be insulted. I will continue to stick to what my surgeon and nutrionist recommend, I am on a 1,200 calorie diet, I am a 6'1 ft male, that is normal calorie intake for after MGB. So i do not know what people here are writing but respect the positive feedback and appreciate it greatly. As for the negative, I don't care for it. thanks
  10. @Healthy_life2 why is this a hoax? I do not understand??? Why on earth would someone come to a forum like this, and ask the community questions as a hoax. It is even more sad to think you know or can even think of people who do that in your life. Very upsetting and no this is not a hoax, why on earth!? Nevermind, I guess you have your own issues. All good thank you
  11. @GreenTealael A papaya is a healthy fruit, it is the size of an orange. With lemon juice on top, it is a delicious meal. Advised by my nutritionist. Papayas contain an enzyme called papain that aids digestion. Papaya is also high in fiber and water content, both of which help to prevent constipation and promote regularity and a healthy digestive tract. I am very surprised by the comments here. I do not eat canned, or processed foods, all natural, always organic, and always prepared freshly for me.
  12. @nenes78 thank you for taking the time to reply. I have been eating more or less the same everyday, and it certainly has plateaued but the weight gain? I walk 3 or 4 days week about an hr each time. Just do not understand where the hunger came from all of a sudden. Thank you and everyone here for your input!
  13. @catwoman7 in 'maintenance' ? I hungry, constantly. Why is the MGB allowing me to be so hungry. My daily routine of food and drink: 9AM - coffee, with soy milk 9:30 - fresh squeezed orange juice 12:30 - a bowl of porridge (Quaker oats) with a banana (its a pretty big bowl, always surprises me how I can eat it, given its after MGB) 1PM - then I am hungry again, after the porridge which also stuns me as to why, so I have 4 rice crackers with cheese on each one. 6pm - 3 small meat balls, some rice, a little sweet potato 7pm - tea with ginger, and cinnamon 8pm - a whole papaya and banana as I am hungry again 9pm - am hungry again, 2 fruit yoghurts 10pm - hungry again, eat some brie or other cheese, or a whole cottage cheese serving This is my usual day, sometimes a little pretzels but this is pretty much it. It has been the same more or less since my surgery. Some days instead of meat balls its chicken or fish.
  14. @GradyCat it feels awful to be stuck for so long. Why am I so hungry, its only 6 months from surgery. Feel very sad.
  15. @FluffyChix I exercise 3 times a week, same as I have from a month after surgery. I can't believe there are people who reach even below their target weight. In 6 months all I lost was 50lbs (23.5 kg) and now started gaining weight back. I am much more hungry than I used to be. I don't understand how after only 6 months
