    Protein?!?

I was like that @kathy0522, I didn't like for anything to pass my lips either. It is challenging but it does get better. I found things I liked that we're within the guidelines but it took a while to get there and u will too. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Somebody talk me down!

I think everyone deals with this. I just told my niece I don't feel like I lost anything although she says she sees the difference. My surgeon did prepare me that my process would not be speedy Gonzales but stick to the plan and I will loose the weight. I think we all want this fast results but just like anything else it takes time. You will get there don't give up! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    denied

Some places offer financial assistance which will help offset the cost for you. That's how I was able to do mine although approved by insurance my deductible was through the roof so if it wasn't for the FA support I would still be waiting. Don't know where u located but it won't hurt to ask. I wish you all the best don't give up. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Back again family

Good luck with the right surgery on all should be well. Look at this way maybe this new Surgeon should actually be the one doing the surgery and not the other one.. sometime you never know I wish you keep the faith and stay encouraged! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    4 years post op nightmare

Yeah I have heard of this happening after 4 or 5 years and lot of it is food intake. I know my surgeon has started something call the 5 year plan to help patients who encounter this you may want to ask about that option before doing the bypass.. Help i need some answers

Hello I'm three weeks out from being sleeved just like you and yes there are times I feel like my sleeve isn't working, but more so because I don't see fast weight lost results.. my food intake on the other hand is not the same Im actually on full liquids going into puree foods. Which will start Monday. I agree with the other posters please consult your doctor and your dietician. I don't fill full all the time either but I think I'm to afraid to eat more and go off the schedule. Try getting back on your schedule my dietician gave me a guide book for each phase and although sometimes I think I'm ready for the next phase I don't budge because I want to do things right remember you are doing this for you and no one else so stay encourage stick your plan and you got it !! You may want to ask for a drink test too to make sure everything is going where it's supposed to as well. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Protein Intake

Because I had trouble keeping fluids down following surgery.. my surgeon told me to focus on my water intake too.. he said protein was important but I needed to stay hydrated since I was having trouble with all fluids. So I don't think it's uncommon i think its determined by the individual and what your Surgeon thinks is best for you.. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Gas after surgery

Im two weeks post op and gas is a problem but not a bad problem it comes and goes. The BM for me has only been 3 times since post op but for me I've always had problems with that even before surgery. So for me it's normal. I don't have constipation but I do find that peppermint tea really does help with the gas and the BM. Good luck to you and congrats! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
