Very frustrated with the fact that I weigh the same as others and am the same height and I am not wearing the size 16 & 18 that they are wearing. I am not even close to that size yet. Why are our bodies so different and when will I be out of the X's ?

It's funny you say that - I thought the same thing when I saw sizes people were saying they were down to. I didn't expect to be in a 16 or 18 before I'm under 200 lbs but we'll see. It's been too long since I've been down that low to remember what size I was wearing. Body shapes are very different, styles are different and so is comfort level (I prefer bigger shirts). You'll get there soon - you've come so far!!!

There's more to it than height and weight. We're not all shaped the same way. Fat doesn't always distribute itself the same way in different bodies.......Beyond that, there is no uniformity in sizing. Manufacturers can put any number on a garment. They can use the same patterns for a dress; one will affix a "10" label, another a "3X" label. Some are more inclined to catering to vanity than others. That's why you're feeling unhappy and maybe even cuckoo over nothing. Hold a top you bought in the past month against one you had before surgery. One fits now while the other swims. Nothing wrong with that picture.
