I’m here. Working on getting the fluids in. Had some broth yesterday that didn’t agree with me, that was fun, not. Today is better, working on meeting my goal for fluids and think I may get close today as I hit 46 yesterday. Fluids are going to be my challenge. I’m so ready to have something other than broth, popsicles, and jello. Looks like Tuesday I can yogurt, cottage cheese, and apple sauce! My doctors office has you on protein shakes for two weeks only, so this is going to be interesting...

And home. Got here last night, always concerned about getting fluids in. Currently working on GZero and have my isopure ready to go. Figuring out my ‘full’ signals. One is my shoulder starts to hurt. My boys are off to work and school so this will be interesting. Did do some work, gotta make sure people get paid and now I’m back in bed after walking around. Figured I’ll try again in an hour for more fluids. I may take a nap, we will see how the day goes.

I have made it to the losers bench! Surgery went well. I am sore and tired but I have made it. Will go home on Thursday from what I hear. Also the gas is a b$tch. Make sure you walk and stay on top of your meds. I’m waiting for my next set of meds then back to sleep.

Super jealous of those that can have some solids. This all liquid diet is tough. I can see the prize but I want something solid... back to sipping my Gzero

May 14th here. I have a three day liquid diet starting Saturday. I’m excited and ready to get the ball rolling.

I’m getting the bypass in May 14th. I’m ready for this to happen. I’ll be combing back though as I am looking for an idea on when/if I would lose my hair.

Finished with last appointment and submitted and approved by insurance. Got ‘the call’ from the office with confirmation with date, May 14th and time 8:00am, I’m first up. I have my vitamins all set and picked up my scripts. Started shopping for clear and full liquids and will be all set with that by the end of the week. I’ll start to transition things to my backups in two weeks and then my last day in the office is May 10th. Told to expect a 2 night stay but no catheter, no drains, no feeding tube, and no blood thinner shots. This thing is really gonna happen...
