Well "apple" shape isn't too bad! What about faat from "head to toe"? Because my husband knows more about farming than I am about to explaine to him what it is you do. Always..... please excuse my spelling errors -
I am happy to be your friend. I live in a farming community so I am somewhat familiar with your occupation. I live in a community of aprox. 500 folks. Very small town. I will give details as we chat. I am 54, and retiring with an early out with PERS from our local school district as a classified employee in which I have had many different occupations. I have been married for 31 years in July. In fact our anniversary date is 7/7/1977! I have 3 step children. as we chat on I will also explane my children. I don't mind my personal details as all in all I live a very simple life.
what does your pre-op diet consist of. That and exercise are my next major steps. I always think I am getting enough exercise as a full time cook, but it's probably mostly elbow to mouth!!!

I wish I knew, but I don't see how unless you pack it in your carry-on. I am only taking carry-on bag so don't want to use all that room for it. Kerry

Oh I so agree! I have done a lot of research and I am very happy with my decision to go to Dr. Kuri in Tijuana. I know people personally who have went to him and have only the highest regards for him and his care. His facilities are 5 star!

I am self pay and am going to Mexico for $7,500.00 with fills for life, although I will get my fills in Oregon that will cost $180.00 for first and $160.00 for additional.

Great! Good Luck! I thinl in the states it costs anywhere fron $20 to $30 grand.

Hi t-mom, I too will be traveling by plane 3 days after surgery from Mexico to Oregon. Would welcome any info. Wveryone says to carry a pillow but I haven't yet figured out how to pack tht in a carry on! Kerry

I am going on "self-pay". I am just trying to maintain a below 45 BMI. I am at 43 now. I am going to do the LSD diet 2 weeks prior and expect to loose some on that.

OMG! I am so feeling for you. I don't understand why insurance wouldn't pay if your weight is higher? Do you have to be in a certain weight range for Insurance to kick in? Kerry

I think it sounds like it is a good thing to follow, so I will begin 2 weeks prior to the 17th of June and try to follow as closely as possible. Kerry:thumbup: I don't want to be the "French Fry Lady" either. That would be devestating! -

I have not had my surgery date yet, not until June 17,08. It depends on where you are having your surgery done. I am going to Mexico because my insurance won't pay and it is more than half of the expence. My Dr. requires that if you have a body Max index number of 45 or above, you need to go on a "Liver Shrinking Diet". In the USA I think they are more strict with pre opt diets. The liver shrinking diet is High protein and low carbs, -

Hi, I am having surgery on June 17th, and I have chosen not to tell anybody but my husband and the 2 girlfriends I have chosen to travel with me to Mexico for the procedure. I know once I return, both they and my husband will be my support. Do you think I am wrong for not telling people? Kerry
