So I'm about to lose my **** lol. I'm 2 years out from surgery and the first year was a wonderful transition. Now I just feel I've be nothing more than a failure. Now that its pretty much a quarantine, I've gained a bit of weight like 10lbs and sunlight kills my eyes lol. MASKS in the summer are so sweaty soooo sorry for viewing So my loves, DOES ANYONE Hate it lol

I'll trade places with you lol. Because I've been stuck inside due to covid regulations in my state, I have been eating soooooo much more and some bad things. Im getting back on track but I gained 17 lbs in 10 months which may not seem like much but it is if we go through all of this. Ill gladly trade you places ☺️😜

For going out i always get a couple of shots of vodka but if I go to a liqour store I get those Budlight Seltzer 12 packs and they're pretty good. Maybe bars have them but I'm not sure. Let me warn you though, all alcohol hits me SOOOOO MUCH HARDER than before my RNY! Lots of fights because it creeps up on you then BAM!

Kids say the funniest, cruelest, and most sweet things sometimes haha. I always ask my daughters opinion on outfits because 4 year olds are brutally honest and my sons would lie to make me feel better Haha 😄

Im a year and a half out from my surgery and OMG it gets so so hard sometimes. Covid hasn't helped things either since I've been stuck at home around food and our LOVE-HATE relationship 24/7!! Cravings? CHECK! Stress? CHECK! Anxiety? CHECK! Unhealthy food (at least for me) stocked up?? DOUBLE CHECK! I just ordered more protein shakes/snacks to help alleviate some of this because i don't want to punish my husband or kids by taking away their treats. I know i haven't been making smart food choices lately so im just ashamed more than i can even describe. I was going to therapy but since the pandemic began its Tela-Health video appointments and the office is INSANELY backed up.. i refuse to see another dr because of the distance plus i don't like having to explain so many times what my issues are.. I just wanted to vent to my Surgery Siblings because it feels like everyone around me doesn't understand why it is so hard, stressful, and heartbreaking to be stuck around food all the time because EVERYONE in my family is skinny and don't gain weight at all. I look at a candy bar and gain 10 lbs lmao Thanks for letting me vent!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Okay so I need to reach out to my surgery siblings right now because man I am STRUGGLING baddddd. With Covid happening and being stuck inside my mental health is PLUMMETING! I'm a yr and a half post op and I was doing good until covid started forcing everyone to stay home. Being stuck in a house 24/7 with my kids snacks is my own personal form of hell. I'm not going to punish them and take their snacks away just because I crave them. It wouldn't be right to punish them for my choices but OMG it really is a new form of TORTURE. How is everyone else holding up through all this? Anyone else struggling like me?

You know, we all go through different things and experiences post-op because we are all unique individuals. In my opinion it could just be because your body hasn't fully adjusted yet because I was told 4 weeks post op that I need to measure everything out and not to go over because our brains take a bit to catch up with our stomachs signals. Well because I'm some sort of genius I decided to have an extra bite of chicken at 6 weeks post op and felt my first restriction and OMG it was freaking terrible. Hang in there love. If it doesn't get better ask your doctor what he/she thinks.

I'm one year post OP and with all the crap going on in the world my depression has been getting to me. I feel like I'm losing my grip on healthy eating. Anyone else been struggling?? I've been on carb overload these last few weeks and I'm trying so hard to get back in track.

Hello my lovely bariatric family! I'm now in Onederland and I'm happy! I'm down to 198 which puts me down 38 lbs since surgery (which im kind of disappointed with tbh) but I'm down 95 lbs total. I'm falling off the wagon a little this last week by drinking flat diet dr pepper and eating a few things that aren't the best for me. In going to try to get myself in check. How is everyone?!

How is my wonderful family doing?! Big shout out to our sister ARMomma. She had her surgery last Monday. How is everyone feeling? I won't lie, cravings are horrible sometimes but I've stayed strong. I feel so hungry but can barely eat anything. I've been living off of protein shakes still. Ugh.

Hey everyone!!! How is everyone doing? I will be 4 weeks post OP tomorrow and so far I'm down a whopping 13 lbs since surgery. I'm still pretty tired and I've been moody but apparently that's normal since us ladies store estrogen in our fat and it starts getting released after surgery. I've been trying some new foods here and there too. Still hurts like a b!t*h when I sneeze though. My goodness it feels like I'm being ripped apart but other than that, I feel wonderful. I don't regret doing this one bit. I've noticed that I've dropped quite a few inches even if the pounds don't reflect it. Very happy with this second chance at life. Anyone else getting dizzy when you stand up though?

So surgery is in 30 hours and I just got most of my bag packed and ready to go. I have these things: *CPap *chapstick *deodorant *travel sized toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, my biotene, and soap) *eye mask, small Dove lotion tin *A change of panties *hairbrush and pony tail holders I plan on leaving in the clothes I come in with. All in all, i have a small Supernatural backpack that I've fit everything in surprisingly lol except the CPAP lol some of the stuff I'm taking is the same stuff I leave in there anyway lol. I use it as a purse so it can serve 2 purposes. Anything I need, I need to fit in it. Way less **** to keep up with. Oh and my travel pillow will be waiting for me in the car anyone else got anything to add to this?

I understand how you feel. These protein shakes are going to be the death of me.

Girl I feel you on that. I keep trying to side sleep because I CANNOT sleep on my back. I miss side sleeping comfortably.
