True, it is rare for me to shop there and leave with less than $100 worth of stuff not on my list.

There are a ton of coupon codes out and they do have a special on their imperfect buns. 24 for $18. It’s still expensive but not as bad. I’m hoping they’re worth it. Only one store carries that brand near me and they are always sold out. -
I have up and down days. I’m sooooo sick of this and I want the Prime Minister of New Zealand to come over and slap the US. Lol I ordered some stuff online from Target and a Kohl’s yesterday and picked it up within an hour all without leaving my car. I didn’t know that was an option so yesterday I discovered something that helped me feel more “normal”.

Can't stop cheating on my preop diet

I’d get therapy first, surgery doesn’t fix addiction. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with that issue. -

Define cheating. If it was a few slip ups it’s probably not a big deal. If you really ignored the instructions I would say yes, simply because you’re not mentally ready. Nothing personal, you have to dig deep and really want this to succeed. -

These are seriously good. Hard to believe they are only 38 calories. -

Grilled chicken breast with Ina Garten’s summer corn salad. It looks dry, but it wasn’t! I did use half the oil and added some peppers. No leftovers. -

Update. Got my cinnamon SmartCakes. HIGHLY recommend, they are really good. I just saw that you can buy them from Bariatric Pal too! I’ll let you know when we get the buns. -
I’m 2 years out, (sleeve). I’ve had McNuggets a few times, one 6 piece and a 4 piece. I don’t think I had McD the first year. I might have had their scrambled eggs now that I think of it. I don’t forbid myself from it, I just really limit fast food. I do avoid fries though, that is a dangerous food for me. I could eat a lot of them.

Has anyone tried skinny baking company stuff yet? I just ordered a bunch, it’s pricey, but gets good reviews. -
I saw my Doctor for my 2 year follow up today, on my actual 2 year anniversary, and it went great. I asked him if I should worry about year three. He smiled and said I don’t worry about you, you get this, and has every confidence that I will stay on track. I think the second year was easier for me than the first year, I feel like I know what I have to do, and what to avoid, to maintain a healthy weight. I lost weight so slowly the first year, I got very frustrated at times but I never lost hope, cheated or gave up. I WANTED And needed this, so quitting was never an option for me. Reading this board then participating A few months later really helped me reach my goals. Im not going to kid myself and assume anything. I have to stay diligent and track what I eat and remain active. There is no magic answer, you have to put in the work and keep doing it. It hasn’t always been easy but it has been so worth it. So far, so good.

Juice shouldn’t be an option for you at this stage. I’m surprised you are having fruit at all. -

I made chicken tacos tonight, I’m getting really good at homemade tortillas! I’m about 2/3 of the way through this and need to take a break. I haven’t eaten a lot today, so I plan on finishing this! -

Lazy lunch today. Jimmy John’s. I usually get an unwich, however, I noticed they have a smaller (Little John) sandwich now. I got turkey with extra turkey, and added their oil & vinegar (no mayo or cheese) with a half ounce of their “thinny chips”. Not exactly a balanced meal, but it’s hitting the spot today. total calories: 245 It feels like so much more. -

I tried to make Spaetzle this past winter, it looked so easy. I wish I had taken a picture it was the worst thing I made in a long time. My son was crying he was laughing so hard at the finished product. I love spaetzle , however I need a better colander. I don’t recall seeing it already made in the store? My favorite Spaetzle thing is Birds Eye Bavarian Green Beans. Do they still make these? I haven’t seen them in the store for years! -

*My husband swears by Don Poncho crema, it’s only 40 calories for 2 tablespoons. I don’t like creamy stuff, he uses it instead of cheese on his tacos. He also uses it instead of mayo on a lot of stuff. -

Great thread idea! Here are a couple I like a lot. Chili Lime Chicken Burgers from Trader Joe‘s Frontera Grill marinade/sauces are a great way to add a ton of flavor with minimal calories to lean proteins like pork, chicken and fish/shellfish. -
Wow, those are amazing transformations! My husband and I need a break from each other. We went to visit my Dad and didn’t realize we were dressed like twins until later that day.

I consider myself to be progressive and liberal. I’ve learned recently that it’s not ok just to be “not racist” in a passive way. We have to stand up for our fellow American citizens and live in an anti racist society. (We also need to care for everyone in poverty and provide freaking insurance to everyone.) I read this post on Instagram and realized how much I still have to learn and understand.

For as easy as it is, it’s very good. You top it and it’s done in 8 minutes. It isn’t as good as fresh dough but it’s better than frozen pizza. I would call it medium crust, I prefer thin and I don’t find this one bready. It might be marketed as thick crust, but it isn’t thick like Digiorno. Hope that helps, I take my pizza seriously!
