I can barely get two small bites down of anything. :( After that it’s so uncomfortable I can’t even take another bite without feeling like I’m about to puke. Each body is different so it’s hard to ask, “hey is this normal?!” Lol Sounds like y’all are all doing really well!! @jazzyj13 and I will just be over here not eating 😹 lol jk

@othella2 & @si*******on Forreal!! I’m a month post op and have been stuck at 26 pounds lost for 2 weeks. I’ve been having a really hard time getting any food down. beans, eggs, cottage cheese, chicken, I guess my sleeve doesn’t “like” any of it? Can’t really eat without feeling sick. Anyone else having a hard time getting “real food” down?

@Neely I was having the same issues last week (3 weeks post op) I have literally never been so miserable. I took dulcolax which worked so well it sent my system too far the other way🤢 But at least it was moving, ya know? I’ve started taking the Metamucil pills (can’t stand the drinkable) every day and that’s keeping things regular :) Hope you’ve found some help!!
  7. I was sleeved by Dr. A on March 8th. Everyone has so many good things to say about him, but I didn’t have that same experience. There seemed to be a lot of miscommunication between the doctors and my husband and I couldn’t get answers to our questions. I was in so much pain and they only gave me one injection of a more powerful drug. Not to mention they sent me across the border with FOUR pain pills lol. I’ve had to suffer through the pain which is really quite annoying after having major surgery. The doctors started getting snippy and rude and the nurses wouldn’t pay attention to us... we just wanted some answers. I seem to be the only one that’s had a...less than amazing experience with him so maybe it was just an off weekend. I didn’t get a meet and greet with him either. I met him right before my surgery. Idk, it just felt like I had fallen through the cracks of the things that I’d seen other patients get on social media. Anyways, this isn’t a rant just verbalizing the concerns/annoyances I experienced. Hope your surgery goes well!! :)

Hi y’all! I was sleeved on March 8th. I live in Texas and had my surgery done in Mexico. Everything went according to plan - but they set this expectation that the recovery time was a couple days...maybe 10 days max! I had the worst pain, could barely walk, was a crying mess, and kept having panic attacks because two other women had their surgeries the same day I did and were up and walking, saying they weren’t in pain! My incision site pain has been awful, didn’t help that the doc only sent me across the border with four pain pills and can’t prescribe in the U.S. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m about two weeks post-op and STILL am sore at my incision sites. It’s lessened, but is still pretty prevalent. Anyone else have this issue?

    Any March 2019 Sleevers?

I was sleeved March 8th!! Pros: I’ve lost twenty pounds!! Cons: I’ve had EXTREME incision site pain...it has gone down a lot in the past two weeks, but it’s still painful. It didn’t help that my doc only sent me across the border with four pain pills and can’t prescribe in the U.S. 🤦🏼‍♀️ If I do too much I’m absolutely knocked out and I can’t wear anything that isn’t loose around my incisions (pants, shorts, leggings, etc.) or I’m absolutely dying lol. I guess I’m wondering if anyone’s had similar experiences with the pain?
