I have struggled with weight issues since I was in Elementary School. I cringe at myself in photos and decided that I need to take charge of my life. At 54 years old, I want to spend the rest of my time on this Earth at a healthy weight and be pain-free. I have carefully found the Surgeon and Bariatric Program and am doing my homework. I got the clearance from my family Doctor, met with the Surgeon today to go over the procedure. I have a few more things on my list and then I can get my surgery scheduled after blood work is done, Cardiology clearance and endoscopy. I will attend the Group support fashion show this month and am really excited about a new lease on life.
