Trying to kick Sweet craving and Carbs bread
YellowBird19 posted a topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Need help struggling with sweet craving and bread carbs. How is everyone getting thru these cravings. Work (retail) schedule is crazy 10 hours days. Around food entire time. So temptations are there . I do make my meals but feel I’m eating to much or not enough. Drinking water is null and void. Because I just do not like drinking plain water. Need some good tips to get thru and defeat these cravings. Have 10:pounds from goal. Down 60 pounds. -

Yes it is a chore and struggle you had surgery 3 days before me. I’ve set alarms to remind me to eat but sometimes it works . If I’m not hungry I cannot force myself to eat. Good luck It might take some time to get a routine

Hydration and fueling issue Cycling

Thanks for info. I actually do Century and a 7 Day 500 mile ride. I did this all at my heaviest weight 305. Never let my size stop me for enjoying riding. I do clip in peddles actually speed plays. I do egg whites I order in half gallon or gallon from international egg whites.com . Most rides I do are support so at every sag stop there is food . It’s the 30 min to drink after eating and riding in the heat is going to be a challenge . -
Hello is there anyone that is doing cycling after WLS. Looking for information on fueling but main thing how to stay hydrated. I usually do Century Rides at my old weight 280lbs. Now down to 230 but having a hard time with hydrating and eating.

Doctors went through the medical review board because I had unusual circumstances. I lost weight but was also retaining water. Because I have Chronic Kidney Disease. Had to wait 4 days and it was over the weekend nerve racking. Got approval on Monday surgery was that Thursday

I have Aetna and I had to 4 classes(appointment s) with Nutritionists dietitian, had to have PCP sign off, nephrology, endocrinologist, cardiology, ultrasound, And had to show I was on some type of weight loss etc. But do not gain any weight during this I was disapprove for the surgery for gaining 3 pounds. Doctors had to go through review . 3 days prior to surgery date I finally got approved. 6 weeks post OP down 40lbs. That's my experience with Aetna Sent from my SM-N960U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
