    I see alot of ppl like the 100 cal packs.... i was told they are not worth the 100 cals . Little nutrition and not as filling ( not sure on that part since i dont eat them ). But im guessing everyone loves them
  5. I have been burping alot ( which offers some dicomfort ) and farting now and its 4 days after my band. does the gas-x strips help? and are they okay to use?
  6. I was banded on may 21st. I have had nothing to eat since the 19th as far as real foods. The 20th i had broth apple juice and some Jello. 21ST... BAND! I was not even hungery until may 24th. I now take 2 slimfast and juice / Water and im happy for the day. I sometimes think of food.... but no where as much of some of you have...and for that im happy. This is hard enough to deal with then to have to be having the extra weight of thinking of food . I suggust you keep food out of ur sight, stay away from ppl who will tempt you also. I have had to in the past tell ppl that tempted me this line.... " im losing weight to become healthy and live a better life , please understand this is for my health. " I find it most often its eaither lil kids that tempt or skinny ass friends who think its funny. Keep pushing urself to be your best. I look at it this way, i changed my body with a tool... there is no going back now.

    I dont know a list but maybe you should stick to eating at home? Might make it easier to know what ur putting in ur body. But im sure someone has a list on where you can go and enjoy some food. best of luck!
  8. I was banded on the 21st also. i had soem chest pains but they seemed to go away sometime durning the night last night. grats all ~~jessica
  9. I was banded on the 21st and as soon i woke up i have chest pain. Now i have pain breathing in, white blood cell count is up a little and they said the lower part on my lungs collapsed due to surgery and not breathing deep. The chest pain is still there and has not gone away. Anyone know anything about this and what might it be from? ~~jessica :crying:

  11. I had an xray and also some kind of xray where i had to drink nastey stuff... would the blood clot show up in those pics? ~~jessica
  12. uh blood clot?!! That does not sound good . I asked my surgen and he said it was all normal stuff he was guessing. im only his 6th one he has done for the lap band. Now im even more worried... ~~jessica

    surgery may 21st

    I did 3 weeks of slim fast then i strayed alittle for the past 2weeks . since the start of march to now i have lost 23 lbs. Tonight i had some "POOR" :wink_smile: choices but im calling today my last day for food really. Tomorrow is pre -op and i have no clue what that entails for me. But im pretty sure im back on slim fast and vegs/fruit with some Protein until may 21st when i get my band. I hope that was enough for my liver and the past few days and some choices here and there wont hurt me when i go in this week. ~~jessica
  14. I have been on a low cal diet since march 1st and lost about 21-23 lbs. For the past two weeks im starting to stray away from it once i lost the amount of weight my doc said i had to lose to submit for the insurance. Right now just waiting for the insurance to say okay and to set a date. But I feel depressed that im starting to eat bad food again. I know i should not... but some how i ignore it. Like i do well all day.... drink my slim fast , eat about 500 carb low carb meal around 830-900 pm est . Once i get home around 1230am est from work i get retarded. I'm also feeling hungery all the time now. Can anyone please give me some adivice or words of wisdom. I did so well before... why am i faling now? Its making me pretty depressed... but i keep putting the food in. ~~jessi
  15. well i guess not often.... for lunch around 830 pm est I eat 500 calories. If im short on time ( which is very often ) I just grab a lean cusin and maybe a fruit. But those meals have little chicken in them. I do have the slim fast 4 times a day with eaither 10g of Protein or 15g. and thats all i have all day... 1 500 cal meal ( which sometimes is not even 500 cal ) and about 4 slimfast ~~jessica
