I am about 3 and a half years post-op and have gained about 30 pounds back. I can't get mentally disciplined back to where I was. Nothing works. I can't seem to get off the weight. Has anyone tried WW? I need a solution that is not eating 800 calories, because I obviously can't get back to doing that. Thanks!

Oh gosh. I remember those day. I actually did a pouch reset last year back with pureed foods and it was tough. Good luck with your journey and thanks for your reply. Sounds like you are doing a great job so far!

Thanks for your reply. Those sound good. Do you put any protein powder in them? Nutritionist says I need 60-90 grams a day. Do you have to get in a lot of protein also?

Wow! Thanks! Yes, I also like recipes with short cooking times and few ingredients! We DO have Kindle Unlimited, so I will have to check out those cooking books! LOVE your planning out meal preps. You are right, it is so much easier to do it that way. I need to get in the habit of doing that. Thanks for your feedback and advice. I really appreciate it!

Thanks so much! Never seen this lady myself. Super helpful content! Thanks!

I went to see my surgeon for my two year post-op and he was concerned I had gained about 10 lbs since my last visit. My nutritionist put me back on a 800-1,000 calorie diet a day diet. During quarantine, I have really gotten lax on my eating. I honestly forget what 800 calories a day looks like. Do you guys have ideas for 800 a day meals? I am sort of back in the habit in the last week, but it is tough. It is especially tough going from eating carbs/takeout/etc. What are your ideas for low carb/low cal meals? Thanks in advance!

I know. It does not seem to do be doing anything helpful at all. Going back to high protein, very low carb is probably going to just be most effective for me as well. I went totally off the wall during the quarantine with foods. Just need to get back on track!

Kind of a combo of both.

I gained some weight during quarantine (not too much, but a little), so my nutritionist suggest I do a pouch reset. I am on day 3 and it is kinda tough. I have lost about 3 pounds. Has anyone had success with the pouch reset? Did you find after that you ate smaller portions? Just wondering what other people had tried this. Thanks in advance! Hope everyone is staying well!

Hey everyone I have been a really slow loser, and I have an upcoming visit with my doctor plus a vacation that I want to drop a couple pounds. I have been stuck at the same weight for some time now. I was thinking about maybe trying the pouch reset. Has anyone tried it? Any success? Looking forward to hearing from you guys! Thanks!

Thank you everyone for all the feedback! The consensus was NO carbonated beverages was told to you all as well! I appreciate you guys getting back to me with your responses! No carbonated drinks for me!

Hey guys. So, my nutritionist said I can have absolutely NO carbonation again in terms of drinks. She said it stretches the sleeve and should not have any carbonated beverages again. My understanding was that it was just for the first six months. What have your surgeons or nutritionists said about it? I am not talking soda, just other carbonated beverages!

Thanks! That is encouraging. Congrats again on your achievement. I am switching up my exercise to see if that will help. I think it is just one of those things that will fix itself. It is just frustrating. Thanks for responding! Wish you continued success!

How did you break your stall? Or did it just happen? I am stalled right now. Very frustrating. Congratulations on your success!
