Crazy! I have found it is rare to find people in Calgary, that is so awesome! I am having surgery here, did you go through SmartShape? How does that all work? Do you stay in Toronto for a few days then fly back home?

Hi hazel_ize. I am also getting VSG on the 26th. I am super nervous and a little scared, you? I have been on the liquid diet for 3 weeks, so I will be glad to be done with that lol.

Hey scrappygirl123. My surgery was scheduled for the same day as yours but got bumped up to the 26th,so we are almost surgery twins. Sad to hear the hubby isn’t a great support system, mine to. I don’t think everything will hit home u til after surgery. Good luck when your days comes!

Me too! I had the option to have it on August 1st but chose to do it a bit later. Are you going through insurance or paying privately. I’m in Canada, where abouts are you?

Hi all, I am super new to this forum, actually this is my first ever post! One weird one I have is to sit on the ground with my knees tucked up to my chest and still be able to breath ha ha. Also, to be able to sit in an airplane seat without feeling like I am the biggest burden to the ppl next to me.
